he most definitely said F to the ump.. i am not annoyed at lewis in the least. leaders have tempers too and this call was bullshyte. he was going for the ball and making the cat accountable. i beileve that lewis genuinely was flabbergasted at the call and realised it was a key point in the game. he lost his temper and no doubt regrets that, but i'd rather have a guy like him out there than a stoned-looking defender with seemingly no worries.

Petracca' class and hunt for the footy Oliver - as above The hardness the boys played with in the second half.. Do that all season and we're finals bound easy.

after finally getting to watch the game on reply, a few observations: -i am shocked by the criticism the team got. they tried their guts out (bar that second qtr). so much learnt from a game like that (annoying to say, but true). cats were better than i expected, they have some good young players now and will be top four again. -not a huge fan of wagner, but he made the opposition earn it today. also got involved up the ground. no way he goes out -too much up & under inside 50.. was that the strategy?! at times it felt as though it was?? were the coaching staff expecting fritsch, garlett and hannan to pick up the crumbs better than they did? if this was the plan, it should've been adjusted. LOWER YOUR EYES FFS -loved out physicality. the cats players will be very sore after their win (small consolation)

mate. as a new south welshman, i moved to melbourne in 09 and had to choose a team.. like you i liked the jumper, history and underdog status of the oldest club, but far out! don't expect too much joy. the few moments of joy that i've had though have been glorious! i cannot imagine how it'd feel to win the GF. stick with the dees mate. it'll be a shakespearean ride

there's hype?

i agree somewhat, but that's just the way he plays. he's dynamic and mecurial. up and down. and over there too! the challenge of consistency is real and i'm sure he's working towards it, but at the end of the day, he adds something no one else in the team (even fritsch and hannan) can.

i wonder how much salary cap we have to play with?.. we might need to get rid of a player or two to afford sloane or one of the dogs? maybe t-mac or a combo of players (JKH, Stretch, Salem?)?

still my fave. can't wait to see him up and about.

for those saying he'll go past harmes... i would've thought harmes would be more a midfield option after the past aflx and jlt1 performances? harmes seems fit and ready to run. whereas, bayley is more of a kick-a-bag kinda guy. we'll use harmes in the engine room surely! looking forward to watching the kid develop and reckon him and garlett are gonna cause chaos, lol

already coming round to this kid...could be the fourth furphy though. definitely rather him in the side than o-mac.. and maybe even frost by the end of 2018/9. he looks good. would've liked garner or houlahan though. annoyed the bombers took houlahan. grrrrr. he'll be a player!

apart from speed seems to have pretty average skills.. there's gotta be other options out there. i'd be disappointed if they go for him.

the latest highlights package looks pretty enticing! ANB could be in trouble.. just an observation, but harley's demeanour seems super passive.. i reckon he's gonna be a keeper. exciting, cos he looks ready to go! bring on summer and i hope he gets a good run at the upcoming season :-)

i agree on tyson, i couldn't find a spot for him.. gets the ball, just doesn't do much with it. and when he kicks goals its always once we have the game by the scruff of the neck and the other side aren't defending well and he just lopes in and puts it on the boot. this team does look tough to beat for sure, but i worry that we still need SPEEEEEEEEED.. carn draft! chuck us an outside runner ay!
