I don't know why the MCC members, the ones who fork out the most every year to see the Dees play, are considered to be the least knowledgeable supporters
There's an obvious level of commitment/dedication there, simply by virtue of the cash you have to fork out

So wrong in so many ways.

i suppose that is why a club official at the agm, when asked this, said "at worst" we would expect he would only be unavailable for a few weeks but if you want to believe they were prepared for a one season suspension, then go ahead,Â

If you want to believe a club official at the AGM, back at you.

For mine, you would want to keep Garland, Gawn, Fitz, Toump , Pedo, Cross (another year) Harmes and King. Don't know enough about White.
Cut White and you'll wind up getting another rookie on the same money - you have to fill the list. He'll stay. Jamar's retirement would free up some money, but the salary cap is certainly an issue. Confident it will be sorted.

my friend has told me a few times that Jesse has said he probably wouldn't go back to Perth at all if not for his family, that there is so much more to do in Melbourne, and he loves being in the home of footy, apparently a lot of his mates are over here now anyways, besides Dom sheed who is an Eagles boy, jaeger up at the Suns and David swallow is up there too
Perth is a very nice place to visit, but after six months the walls start to close in. And they don't have the G.

it's a great story (so far) isn't it maurie? seeing young players develop seemingly from nowhere is one of the delights for a footy follower
Barry Oakley wrote about this in "A Salute to the Great McCarthy" (1970).
"It is the story of McCarthy, the brilliant young footballer from the bush, and his adventures when he comes to the big city, determined to succeed."
Barry Oakley also wrote "Let's hear it for Prendergast".

The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
in Melbourne Demons
Gone.  He'll be sent straight to the tribunal, three weeks down to two with an early plea, and Roos will send him to the naughty corner.
Other teams will look to provoke him until he proves he can control his temper.
