  1. 1. Bate - Versatile lead up forward / Midfielder. Pure footballer 2. Petterd - Tough, couragous and good skills 3. Morton - Slight, but should bulk up and has good composure 4. Dunn - Promising forward, even more promising tagger 5. Garland - Surprisingly smart defender 6. Woenamirri - Is good now, can't see him getting much better. Great set shot however 7. Buckley - Fast, good kick, but bad kick when running so fast)You get me?? a bit hard to understand what i wrote. but it does make sense 8. Jones - Tough as nails. Can't kick, can't shake a tag, tries to break to many tackles. 9. Newton - Could be a 70 goal full forward, but i feel he will never reach such heights. 10. Martin - Very early too tell but very impressed so far. 11. Frawley - unco footballer, shouldn't have been drafted so high, is now our 4th or 5th choice backman when all are fit. 12. Bartram - Very fit and hard at it. Can't kick, not damaging, doesn't close down his opponent nearly enough. One year wonder 13. Bode - Supposedly he is fast. Yet i've never seen him run down an opponent or run away from a chaser. Doesn't look like a footballers shoelace. I still consider McLean, Sylvia, C.Johnson to be juniors to.. I would have them in the top 6
  2. would be nice to see petterd again. seems to be a forgotten man
  3. I was there and it was a pretty poor turnout. I think though, i was on level 3 in the middle of bulldogs supporters with one melbourne 'supporter' behind us. We had to move at quarter time. For the whole first quarter i couldn't watch the game as all i could hear behind me was this moron yelling 'Dog [censored]' 'Send them to the RSPCA, the RSPCA they're dogs'. 'Dog [censored]' 'Dog [censored]' "They're dogs, put them down' Over and over and over and over and over waiting for a reaction but never got one. The sterotype of the bulldogs being moronic ferals may shift to us if more people like him keep wearing our colors. It might have been the fact that we only kicked 1 goal, but that first quarter sitting in front of that fool was the worst 30 minutes of my life.
  4. How did we win by 1 point, but yet there were no Brisbane players in the team? Luke Power was dominant and surely deserved a spot

    Valenti

His ability to stand up in a tackle is superb. Great balance and except for a silly kick across goal early it thought he was very good
  6. I've been doing my own Brownlow and here is my top 12 As you can see if MY votes continue there are going to be some records set. Cooney - 21 - Ablett - 20 Goodes - 15 K.Cornes - 14 Franklin - 13 Richardson - 13 Corey - 13 Harvey - 13 Judd - 12 Thompson - 12 Akermanis - 12 Out of the Melbourne votes i have given Mclean - 5 ( 1 in round 3, 2 in round 9, 2 in round 11) Green - 2 ( round 5) Miller - 2 ( round 7) Bruce - 2 ( 1 in Round 7 and 1 in round 12) Jones - 1 ( Round 6) Bate - 1 ( Round 9) Out of interest, how many players usual pole votes each year? I have given 136 players at least 1 vote.
  7. Quick question, i'm coming up for the Port game later in the year. How far away are you from the city / nightlife itself?
  8. Bruce has been one of our best and most consistent players over the years. Colin is showing that he will be one of our best over the years. On a bad Cameron Bruce day, YM is correct, but over the time Bruce has been great. Sylvia is improving this year and stepping up. It has taken him a while but at least its happening. And Dazzle Davey, having a go at Sylvia's first ever game is a bit un-necessary and about 5 years too late. FYI - 10 of Cameron Bruce's first 19 games resulted in him having under 10 possessions. And he was already 20 at the time. To put that in comparison to Sylvia after 19 games, Sylvia had 11 games under 10 possessions, but was a year or 2 younger at the same time. I rate both of these players and looking at the stats of both of these they seem very similar. In my views though, Colin seems to go in my harder for the team.
  9. i might as well gloat while i can, i'm 8th overall. not in your league, but yeh, thought i'd make the most of it while i can
  10. 15 1%rs to Rivers in two games. We have missed him. Just imagine him in a good club.
  11. Daniel Ward hands down. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Ward_%28footballer%29
  12. Kreuzer had 0 hit outs to advantage. His main role is to feed his midfielders which he didn't do. As much as Jeff is struggling he is still getting about 30% H.O to advantage.
  13. i will be impressed when we win games
  14. he's a poor mans Brent Grgic
  15. Thank you for that. Even though its true (im sorry about that) you've put a big smile on my face
  16. thats funny because Melbourne Kangaroos and the Bulldogs Memberships are all run out of AFL House together. All cards and mailouts are done together there... you'd expect the standard to be the same across all clubs
  17. info on ilsy. he isn't meant to play but will probably play out of FF to avoid getting injured
  18. if Ilya plays ruck, then cribbes will destroy him in hitouts, he sure won't have the fitness to run with him however.
  19. You know DD that not 1 club spoke to Brad at all. A bit hard to beleive considering he was Sandys U/18 B&F and dominated all the way through juniors. anyway. A bit of info on a potential Sandy player, He hit 240 odd in about 30 overs the other week. Good allround sportsman
  20. i play footy with Ilya. If he is their best, then we will win, quite easily
  21. yeh probably. But Chris Johnson also restricts himself with his inability to be a good footballer
  22. ahh cribbes. you finally worked out how to use a computer.
