The curious case of Colin Sylvia. I'll probably never give up hope of him being a serious player for the MFC. I noticed something in his play against the Swans. When the ball drops, a player changes direction or a stoppage is cleared - Col has the strength, running power & skills to do what's required of him in these situations but he's slow to react to a change in the play. One instance I saw Jack clear a stoppage by moving to a good spot to recieve an OKeefe handball. Col had the power to chase and lay a late tackle but wasn't able to stop Jack clearing the ball. If he had of reacted earlier to Jack's movement he wouldn't have been in a position to recieve. Hope he re signs. Away from the club he seems settled. I just wanna see the best of this guy.

Morton was the player of the Carnival in his year and also the fittest. I for one never doubted Cale's work ethic, especially in his first couple of seasons. It was his physical side and skills which let him down.

I don't for a second understand the Nicho hate. Here we have a kid who isn't afraid to take the game on, is the fittest on the list and has never to be questioned desire. He's going to make mistakes but that's all part of developing kids. I also believe his skill execution will improve when his team mates have the work ethic to spread into space. Support the young lads. They're out future.
