  1. I fear most of this is way over your head. Hinkley's success is a false economy because it comes from one single game in isolation, against a poor opposition. Still don't get it? (Yes, that was also rhetorical...)
  2. He probably still will, but we can't expect him to dominate and be our best player in his first couple of games, let alone his first season, let alone his first few seasons.
  3. No we haven't, but our supporters are quickly turning more and more like them. We readily eat our own.
  4. Are you guys serious? Schwab was meddling in the football dept too much, and has been told to stay away. He has, and that is no longer a problem. Clutching at straws for people to blame? FFS.
  5. Chopping and changing coaches like this will see us end up like Fitzroy. We are the old Richmond of the 90s, and we think becoming more and more like them is somehow the solution.
  6. What an idiotic viewpoint. You don't build a strong culture by bringing in a new coach every 18 months. And if you're not talking about that, what on earth is this redundant concept of "putting him on notice"? Emotive guff to make you feel a bit better? Buckshot blaming will get us nowhere. Or do you falsely believe we are somehow now a great team that is being poorly managed? Have you forgotten what we were like last year? What great change has the team undergone? Did we make a mockery of other team's ability to negotiate at the trade table? Are our draftees the great instant game-changer? Fortunately the club is focused on solutions, not finger pointing a cataclysmic knee jerk reactions like you see here in the peanut gallery. NB. Hinkley's success to date at Port is a false economy.
  7. There's no point. You don't want to listen to reason or have an intelligent discussion. The events leading up to now are well documented. Cause & effect.
  8. That's not the point I'm making. YOU continue to revel in the club's misfortune. Is it because it gives you some sort of platform? It's sick.
  9. You're not doing it, but you want to see it happen. And you're enjoying whipping some of the more feeble minded into a frenzy. You revel in watching this club burn. We've seen it many times before with different controversies. Don't you ever get sick of the sound of your own voice..?
  10. It doesn't matter whose it is, but we want to see it. Lots of it. WE WANT BLOOD! What's better than blaming and sacking someone? Blaming and sacking EVERYONE.
  11. This forum is full of amnesiacs. Cause & effect, people.
  12. Can we, as supporters, be any more stupid & knee jerk reactionary?
  13. Christ, I've had enough of you clogging up the forum with rubbish threads of no substance.
  14. I'm quite surprised at the naivety and ignorance of some posters in potting Scully and especially Trengove. It's... flabberbasting.
  15. Haha stats! Let me relay what Eddie commentated a few minutes ago, as has become standard throughout Moloney's matches: "...Moloney finishes up with the ball and sends it inside 50... And it comes back out again courtesy of Cooney..."
  16. I was a big supporter of moving him on before and immediately after his B&F win. Who was giving out the votes at the time, is an important consideration. Plus, there's a reason he's on a pittance at the Lions.
  17. He left far too late stuie, and was an influential player in the poor culture we've worked to eradicate.
  18. Unfortunately for Beamer, failure seems to follow him. Those that understand the game can see why.
  19. stuie, you were keen to keep Moloney & kept telling us early last season that he'd only had a few bad weeks & would come good. Sorry, but your judgment on these things isn't the best.
  20. DB had nearly a 50% win-loss ratio? On what planet??
  21. I reckon this little snippet was so well hidden it'd have slipped through to the keeper.
  22. I can confirm that I've seen her on multiple occasions leaving the G shortly after the first bounce (as I'm usually running late).
