Would anyone be interested in carrying a similar system for next year where top 4 and bottom 4 face relegation? Also is anyone keen for both SC and DT?

A good idea would be to set up a few different leagues to make the competitions more enjoyable and fairer (ie those who scored over 2k on DT). Here's mine: Supercoach avg: ~ 2350 posi: ~3-7,000 DreamTeam avg: ~2150 posi: ~7-15,000

Because the fact that this family isn't already recognized as being strong Melbourne supporters & financer's has me puzzled & hence I've drawn my own conclusion that they would want it kept private (don't know why). We all know journo's go on here & would hate for this knowledge to affect the club (again I don't know how but better to be safe then sorry). Posted this on here because I was having some drinks with people in the know & wanted to share we are in a strong financial position going forward. We have our own Pratt family & they're maybe even more generous (I don't know the extent of Pratt support at Carlscum). They provide help in the form of open book incentives to help get deals done. EDIT: Also MC was messed around at Brissy a fair bit - haven't heard of a player having so many surgery's in one season.

Learned from a very reliable source today that Mitch Clarke is very happy at Melbourne & that we have some well-known friends in very high places who are providing a strong financial assistance to the club. Obviously won't name sources, take it as you see fit...it's off season.

I'm undecided about wanting Leon but I find it funny those who shut down the idea immediately. All year we've cried over our immature bodies and lack of on field leadership. I think Leon would fill a role, an important role - for 2 seasons max. Is this 2 year role > the development of a young guy in the same spot. I'm undecided but I'm sure Needly knows what's best for the team in the short/long run.
