  1. Hi all, First time poster. the most concerning thing to me regarding the whole watts fiasco is that the club has preached watts entire career "play your role, number 1 or number 78 in the draft isn't relevant." Even Goodwin quoting numerous this year that jack is just another player. Now, albeit he hasn't entirely fulfilled his potential yet, he still has been more than a handy contributor for the past few years. All of a sudden he gets put up for trade and "he hasn't lived up to expectations?" doesn't sit well with me
  2. 6. gysberts 5. bruce 4. green 3. moloney 2. morton 1. jones
  3. i find funny whenever bate bruce or batram make mistakes everyone jumps on their backs, grimes turned it over at least 4 or 5 times just saying, even though grimes is one of my favourite players & is a star. an observation
  4. great game from bruce & scully weve turned a page, devastating to loose last night
  5. i'd also like to know why davey made so many mistakes, & hasnt really progressed since an oustanding year last year. (bar collingwood game) you can usually breathe easy when Davey has the footy that it will advantage us
  6. the difference i personally think was between 2004 & 2005 he played as a foward & midfielder who was more the cream to a team that could have made top 4 and had a serious go. in 05 he hit his peak and dominated the first 3 games firstly because the team did very well and he received alot of the ball + confidence skigh high. in 06 whilst still in his 'peaking years' so to speak he had become a bigger part of the team & not just the cream, he had more responsibility & was more accountable therefore less attacking and his roles have changed since then & doesnt look as good because of being in a weaker team, therefore he has to get his own footy which he didn't do as much in 2004-05.
  7. then please voice your opinion as that is what this site is for..

  12. Davey- prolific but wasteful Green- our best player Moloney-wasnt his best bruce- outstanding 1st half batram- kept harvey quiet garland- not his best sylvia- was quiet (for his standards) grimes- alot of possessions trengove- an okay game frawley- provided good rebound mcdonald- worked tirelessly bennell- wasnt very noticeable rivers- very disappointing game macdonald- was good with errors (kicking to the man on the mark, unforgivable) dunn- a better game jamar- was beaten early bate- was very quiet warnock- a few errors (the dropped mark & hale goal.) jones- worked very hard petterd- good in patches (dont know how bad that injury was but didnt look great) martin- didn't look great scully- the kid can handball
