  1. nar I am not sure what you are trying to tell me

It appears you think people are saying Drop McKenzie.

Not sure that anyone has suggested at this point he should not be playing.

From my point of view people are discussing his relative ability.

There are a number of different views on his worth in the short and long term.

So take a breath I don't think it is as bad as you think.

Fair call, i just found it hard to read through 4 pages of dribble. the amount of player coach stabbing that goes on here i keep thinking im reading a tigerland forum

  2. you spuds, imagine if Jordie had a full preseason and didnt play injured each week to save us from getting touched up by 30 goals each week.......

thats a good idea drop the bloke who doesnt just run forward then drop his head and not chase. Sam Blease and Jurrah highlight reels chase and takle someone outside of 50 or better handball the f%$king thing when your in trouble. get back trav J and C Bruce. just what the Ds need.

  3. OUT; Macdonald, McDonald, Dunn (Clark, McKenzie).

Macdonald's disposal is verging on Auskick stuff. Unbelievable.

McDonald needs to learn how to tackle correctly.

Dunn needs to either switch to boxing or figure out how to get a kick, because if he's just going to mouth-off all day instead of play footy, then he can just p*ss off.

IN: Grimes, Petterd, Sylvia, (Martin, COUCH!!! FFS!)

Grimes is our co-captain and is an obvious "in" despite his sometimes woeful disposal. But since he's replacing Macdonald, it'll be "like for like" in that department.

Petterd is always the first to get dropped, but when he's mentally "on," he's a ferocious tackler and a great, versatile marking option.

Sylvia, who's finally fit and available for selection. Gives us everything we need in the midfield, and is one of our only top-class players.

If Clark is injured, he'll go out for Martin.

Couch obviously tried to crack on to one of Neeld's daughters, since he can never find a spot in our side, but I think he should be given a run. McKenzie played pretty poorly today, IMO, and needs a run in the twos, so maybe he could make way.

How did Griffen go? 11K and 5HB. 5 of those kicks were along the ground!

sort it out if!! if half the front runners who just run off and bomb away to no one manned up or gave it to someone in space things might be different. Half the midfield is too worried about possesions and not effectiveness.

  4. I just saw the HS you tube interview -- who was the intervieeeewer who referrred to the Keith Bluey Award (no mention of Truscott) -- Jordie really interviews well, and sound juust a top bloke with a Red aand Blue heart.

I feel very proud to have him at our club.

where can i find this interview?

  5. All of you didn't put McKenzie in! I hope that was a mistake because he is clearly in our best 22 and is the major reason why McDonald was asked to retire.

Absolutly! thought someone was playing funny buggers!!

    in the best dozen..

  6. Jordie was injured for the majority of his final year at the Falcons.

Didnt get much chance to show his wares to recruiters and his previous year was solid without being outstanding.

    Edit:

I think he had chronic shin splints, but I can't quite remember.

At the halfway mark of the season each team is able to upgrade a rookie to the senior list regardless of LTIs.

He is an absolute cert to keep his spot, even with our weak ruck stocks. It might mean Gawn or Fitzy play rapier than expected, as Spencer won't stay up this season unless another injury occurs.

Jordie's success has effectively killed any chance Newton, Hughes or Healey have of surviving.

Jordie is a bloody beauty, missed alot of 2008 after having hip surgery, had some bone spurs removed. only played a handful of falcons games that year. Falcons were going to play him as an overage player for 2009 if not drafted. Budda loved him from all reports. he played in a Hampden Premiership in 2008 after the falcons were knocked out. he had about 15 tackles then against some big blokes.

great kid hopefully a great future.

as for that clown saying 2nd to the pill. melbourne finally found someone to put thier head over the footy and get their hands dirty, everyone looks great getting all the handball recieves and then kicking long. show some nuggets and go get involved like jordie.......
