Confidence brings improvement you say? So you think nurturing players through form slumps and giving them a chance to improve by having faith in them and building their confidence might actually be the way to go?
I've read on here that dropping players like a sack of spuds after a bad game or 2 to rot in the reserves as a form of punishment is the way to do it though. Watts, Howe, Jetta, Grimes should all have been sent to the gallows apparently.
