Warnock and Beamer won't be around in 5 and Martin won't be getting games IMO....who's gonna bump this in 5 years with....STRAUSS!?! who? MARIC!? WHO? JURRAH!? ONE GOOD SEASON (lets [censored] hope not)
-
had 13
. Had WB early and St Kilda late as my smokies. We won't win most 'em by much but we'll scrape them
-
I just thought I'd throw it out there that Channel 7 Two seems to be playing classic AFL games during the wee small hours on an almost nightly basis. They had the 2007 Melbourne-North game on last night (North leads by 35 in the last quarter, we storm back to take a 6 point lead only to lose by 1). Anyway, I'll be checking the guide fairly regularly in the hope of seeing some great Melbourne wins this offseason. I couldn't find any Melbourne games I'm interesting in seeing for the rest of the week, though they do have 45 minutes of the 87 prelim on the weekend.
By bringing that up again, you've ruined my weekend

That would be ideal a little boutique stadium which MFC could rule with an iron fist make complete profit on the gate and
services delivery contractors paying MFC for the privelage, signage sponsers our own Kardinia Park.
As an aside i was reading that the difference in profit for Collingwood if it's home game is ANZAC day is between 500,000 and 1 million
extraordinary considering I believe MFC has as much right to play in an ANZAC game.
If were going to bag a club about too much revenue, bag Essendon. Collingwood give us all gate revenue for QB, even when its their [censored] Home game! I may not like them as a whole but I like 'em for that! And considering footy only just caught up to soccer in terms of interest for me (funny it does that in one of our worst ever years), I'm all for the WC. Maybe some of the tourists can stick around and watch some AFL too!?

Will Jurrah want a lower number as well? Or is it too late with all the 48s on backs now?!
Robbo gave Jurrah the 24 at the B&F
-
Although admitedly the second one is closer to everything good (that realistically could) happening
-
yes I do believe that Patrick will be available at 50, Tapscott at 18 and I see a chance of Butcher falling to 11. I do assure you, I am rather well educated on this year's draft

1.Tom Scully
2.Jack Trengove
11.Daniel Talia
18.Luke Tapscott
34.Ben Griffiths
50.Liam Patrick
PSD1-Mich Thorp

PSD1.Mitch Thorp

Why do ALL the interstate & clash jumpers look cheap & very nasty.
shout out to Fremantle for an understated clash
-
^^if our main targets are taken
-
I doubt our PSD pick will be used so I'm all for two of him/Vardy/Craig to be drafted at 18 and 34
-
Carlton-Matt Maguire
-
Ross Funcke? Luke Molan? I'd only consider Robbo as a second rookie pick, save the first for a youngster
-
I'm in love with Talia at the moment, surpised so many prefer Griffiths/Moore
-
1.Tom Scully
2.Jack Trengove
11.John Butcher/Daniel Talia
18.Luke Tapscott (will slide)
34.Ben Griffiths/Majak Daw
PSD-Daniel Bradshaw
R1-Liam Patrick

Depending on his lead up to the start of the season, we really need to get Watts on the park and get experience into him. No excuses now. By then he will have his studies behind him and all focus on football.
I'm getting goosebumps again.
Gippy
from what I've heard from a very inside source, Watts isn't quite ready yet
-
-
Sidebottom, one of at least 10 players from that draft already superior to Watts.
cool
would you care to GTFO or shall I explain to you, AGAIN (I'm sure my fellows have tried) that Watts was never even meant to play in '09? That most players drafted in the 1st and 2nd rounds would play better footy at AFL level than Watts in year 1? That if Watts had been around at your pick you wouldn't have even taken a glance at Sidebottom?!?
You do go for Collingwood I suppose, it's not your fault you're impaired

So what's this 'Youth Round' all about?
-
you Spurs fans Mr Morton and 45hotgood16?
Great minds, huh?
With Lennon and Modric out we need to play Bale and Jenas, no arguments even though I'm not a JJ fan. Always turns it up against Arsenal so worth a try. If Bentley plays (which he deserves, but Harry doesn't seem to like him) we should play Hutton at RB. Charlie offeres us nothing without Lennon's tricks which tend to attract the RB and RW, thus freeing Ved up for a smart one-two. Hope King and possibly Woodgate are fit though. Ledders is an absolute star.
-
Feel sorry fpr the bloke because he was right up there. Would have been nice if Lyon could have given him, considering he was fully fit, a 100th game. But I suppose if he did that then he might outshine the golden child Dawson. Would love to pick him up if no Ball, big name, still relatively young and he could well be a star again with constant game time
-
Its about expected bums on seats not where you finished last year.
Despite its lack of success in the past 28 years, Richmond have a huge supporter base (thanks to the 5 flags in 13 years -1967 to 80). They do get numbers to games despite the crud of a side they are. And it does not take much success from them for the crowds to swell.
This. The Tiger fans are the ones I admire most. Been absolute [censored], this and to an extent the last decade(s), but week in week out they get big crowds. Probably my second team along with North.

If this is Barry's 22 then I'd like to assume that picks 11&18 being used for Butcher and Tapscott (both will slide IMO) as well as Ball in the PSDwill be his ultimate goal
Garland-Warnock-Frawley
Bruce-Rivers-Strauss
Scully-Beamer-Davey
Tapscott-Morton-Bate
Jurrah-Butcher-Watts
Jamar-Jones-Ball
I/C-Martin, Aussie, Green, Trengove
This is more of a round 5/6 rather than 1, thay can't all debut!!
@FF-Anyone got a tissue?
JMac needs to fit in their somehow, but thats my BEST 22

I have to say, Two Sheds Jackson, that reading your story made me unbearably sad. The only person in my family (who I know of) who's had cancer is my grandfather. He had his ear off but that was when my dad was a boy. He had an aggressive in-ear cancer and at 80 years is still going strong. Reading about the good news five minutes later (haven't been on this board before seeing your thread pop up when I was choosing between the main board and the Jordy board) has really made my day. Keep fighting my friend, you WILL set the benchmark for beating this.
Everyone else, I started this thread on BigFooty last month about Jim Stynes, http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=639823, I know most of you hate the site but if we could all take the said ideas in this thread and mirror it to TSJ (don''t stop the positivity for Jimmy though!) it would be really, really great.

neither will Rivers and Garland will need to get over his foot issues to keep up
