  1. I would like him to sign up on demonland and give us a brief message of, [censored] off none of you know me and what im thinking so stop judging.

Not judging at all, and not saying it is any of my business becasue it isn't. Every club has an enigma that creates interest among the faithful.

  2. Brad Johnson will play forward for the Doggies. Whelan will struggle with BJ so I would play Bruce on him. Newton is still well short of a gallop and from all reports needs to sustain his application. He has the ability. Needs to back it up. I would play a fit (if fit) Junior in preference to Newton.

It would be intriguing to speak to the young man (Newton) about what he wants.

  3. Bruce on Johnson. He's done it successfully before. He has the stamina and one on one strength to go with Johnson and the ability to damage going the other way.

Double edged sword this one. Agree that he does a great job on Johnson but it takes away so much from our drive through the midfield into the forward line. Despite his disposal issues he does bring class and ingenuity to the fall of the footy and if he is having a really good game on the ball we are usually not too far away.

  4. Maric has played more than "one good game".

I've seen him a couple of times in the Sandy seniors and been very impressed with his maturity and attitude (and gee...he only looks about 12 years old)!

Reckon he could be put in the Melbourne team for at least one game before season end, if only to get a taste of the big time and reward him for a damn good first year.

He's played quite well in the midfield this year. Plays is in bursts and gets knocked off the ball a bit but one forgets he is only 18. When he gets stronger and more confident I can definitley see him playing in the midfield. Could be the next Boomer!

  5. The match ups could work like this, no need to drop Martin.

    Bartram Martin Wheatley

    Akermanis Minson Welsh

    Whelan Warnock Garland

    Giansiracusa Hahn Murphy

I agree. Garland and Warnock would struggle on Minson due to height and Minson can be dangerous if he drifts back to the square. it would be a good test for Stef. Warnock would be a good match up for Hahn as Warnock is quick of the mark and Hahn is a great mark. Garland would be a good match up for Murphy.

The four harderst to match up on will be Aker, Johnson, Gia and Welsh (who always goes to town on us).

  6. The APS is a pretty strong brand of junior footy and he also plays with the Sandy Dragons.

What other "organisations" do you prefer ?

TAC and equivalents across the states and territories. Not saying that the notion of the TAC is stronger than the APS is sacrosanct though.

  7. They're not Brothers, but even if they were, have you heard of Jim and Brian Stynes, Stephen and David Kernahan, Todd and Jay Viney, Stan and Mark Alves, Robert and Tom Flower, Darren and Damien Gaspar, and many many more...

In fact, how many AFL players have Brothers, or do you think they're all only children ?

I don't know where you got the idea that I was inferring that they were related. The surname is incidental. I was comparing them in terms of stature and style of play, one played for Wesley College and the other plays for Brighton Grammar. What I am questioning is the strength of APS football compared to other organisations.
