Well alot of reading.. I dont think it is really fair judging any young player in this team.. How can you get a real sense of their ability when the teams confidence is Zero?? how many people here have actually played at top level?? Vfl/Afl? surely you remember your first few games.. my knees were nocking lol kicking for goal. It is a lot harder for KPP as you know the team is relying on you. and he was fighting for his spot. I think with a bit of confidence the pressure would come off and he could be ok.. On saying that i dont hink what he has done is good enough for AFL so definately drop him back down until he strings together 5 Top games then tell him he has 5 weeks to prove himself.. I think it is unfair that we are expecting so much from our kids if the board had drafted properly they would be support players not KPP. -
Time wasting mostly on the wing when he runs up the ground and marks gets the ball clear wants to hand pass off no one is there as they are streaming forward and he takes so long they get manned up... If he is going to run up the ground get someone in there make them train at it . Great someone who scores enough to influence the games result. or dominates his opponent and wins the ball himself.. Look i am not saying the guy is a dud and never have, he has everything you need to be a star but he clearly hasnt implemented it into his game or hasnt had it pointed out to him how to improve.. do you think if he was in geelong he would do better?? i am not so sure.. sure the delivery would be first rate but would he be in the right position to recieve? does he change his lead at the last moment after the kick is on its way.. I used to be prone to this myself until it was pointed out to me.

I think Johnson and jamar should be worried.. Meesen seemd to give the oppostion problems when he was and and he clearly made a difference at the stoppages. now if stynes can make him fit and mobile and play 180 games without missing one it would be great.. come to think of it get him back out there ... put stynes in a forward pocket lol that would stuff with the little defenders
-
I think Moloney has greatly improved he was your ttypical old time player when we first got him get the ball bang it long etc etc but very hard at it. but now he has refined his skills and thought process to be very damaging and still be hard at it.. from a few years ago when we were labelled a Soft club i think his inclusion has really helped the younger/smallers guys be more confident.. we seem to play better when he is in the team.. and although Sylvia is strong and hard at it imo he is still to selfish.. looking for accolades or maybe that is just him trying to impress the coaching staff so he gets a feww more years who knows. i would like to see him do more 1% er's though. (incredible Marking strength )

he reminds me of Sam mitchell from hawthorn . when he first started he was ok without dominating the he bulked up and got confident. And jonesy looks quite buff now.. wouldnt be suprised to go to geelong though.. just kidding lol just got the right haircut lol ablett jones chapman smart [censored] maybe all our players should shave there heads.. seems to work

Miller wasnt damaging with Neitz at full forward so i dont know where he will be better for a young kid at FF Workrate is totally useless if you dont get the ball or when you do you make bad desceisons . I am not doubt his courage, workrate, marking or ever his kicking skills. its his descisions that bug me. playing on when he shouldnt, handpassing when he should kick, not looking inboard at running teammates, time wasting (although he seems to be trying to play on at all costs this year).. and i am not saying its all millers fault either.. what i have said time and time again is get someone to spend more time with him to make him Great or forget about him .. one way all the other.. i am sick of seeing him do 2 good things the cost us a goal from lack of vision, timing etc. Do some roleplaying with him get the onballers to sit down and make set plays so they are looking for him. for him to say hey i always prefer pushing off with my left arm and marking with my right so mainly kick it to the right side of me.

The problem with games off is they still play just a a lower level where they are just as likely to get an injury but the club doctors arent as good..

Would be good for ratings. lol

So to sum it all up 80% think he should go or that he isnt doing enough, The question that bothers me is who do we have that can fit his spot immediatly? not i a few years? i wouldnt hesitate to dump him if we could get a pavlich or someone with his ability but every player that comes through melb seem to be in his mold with a similar mindset.. (bate being an exception) So is it actually Juices, dunn, miller, johnson(when he plays forward), Morton, pettard that are at fault or the forward coaches for not either explaining things right or getting the kids to concentrate? One person that really highlights this albeit at a different club is Medhurst at collingwood. at freo he was lazy, disinterested, only there for the high flyers and selfish. New coaches and teammates that wont tollerate that and now look at him... and who did collingwood dump? tarrant their star forward.. SO is it cultural, the player or a lack of understanding and communication between the coaches and a very young team? -

Obviously you have not been to perth ever.. The passion this state has for its footy is amazing.. the players are on tv, news, radio, billboards, coke machines, everywhere... bloody amazing.. Sure the club isnt preforming to what expectations were but hey it happens. Well done to the freo supporter for sticking up for his club.. Probably the worst experience i have ever had at a football game was against freo though lol it really suxed to be in the crowd in perth with the 400 other melbourne supporters and getting beaten.. oh well one day we will be back... -
Cant speak highly enough of stynes contribution to our Membership I loved the mms on the phone urging people to sign up then ringing up and get a player.. great idea

I was just thinking about how impressive every kid is who debuts for any club these days.. What has happened to turn kids into men so fast? is it due to the speed of the game that every team is geting younger? Will it soon be like the golden slipper where the kids come in run hot for two years then burn out?? or is it just the clubs are prepping players better these days?? Is it the salary cap is forcing clubs to get a few cheapies on the track? or is it more injuries to older players? has this contributed to a lowering of skills?? everyone says geelong skills are great and they are generally older.. Although the youth bring dash and flare to the game is it worth the sacrifice of skills? (besides the Kids with natural Ability)
-
You would like to think winning games is the first ranked. when you look at the club as a whole we need to solidify our supporter base. hate to see all the good work stynes has done go down the tubes due to a terrible on field record.. if we went crap for the next 3 years and picked up 3 first round draft choices who would be there to watch them besides the die hards?? Unfortunately we are not like a collingwood or carlton where they have a strong ethnic supporter base who all have large families.. And the damge behind the scene would be massive ( look at freo, after failing to meet their predictions everyone is down)

Juice is definatley a player on the way up.. will he be an A Grader?? not sure.. but if he bulks up a bit and gets the run in his legs i wont hurt.. he certainly has the natural ability.. and if he does get his confidence up and fitness at the right level he is exciting enough to go and watch play.. everyone loves a high flyer.. look at jolly, he left before his prime and is now dominating and it is costing us. lets hope the M.F.C do put some time into him. And big guys always take longer. Atleast when he gets the ball he doesnt look lost with it.. or unsure.. we just have to increase the workrate.
