  1. So..Nugget.......does the old team and old culture include players like Neitz who was the heart and soul of the club for many years?? You're quick to bag Trav, sounds like you're quick to sell yourself too. Never forget where you came from Nugget!! Good to see 'grant' suck you all in lol
  2. Yeah man.........you were stiff. You should have kept the footy. No way those two fat bozos could have kept up with you!!!
  3. May 24 is another Sunday night game, against Hawthorn. Have learnt my lesson. Not going to drive 2 hours each way to freeze my nuts off!! PS - What was Jimmy doing outside the Punt Road end before the game. Walked past but he'd finished and was signing autographs
  4. I agree with you Choko, but a newspaper article before the Nth Melb game about him, said he'd been learning and practising leading structures. Havent seen anything to suggest he's put anything in place yet. Forward line will become more crowded when Robbo returns. Anyway, he's usually a beautiful kick of the footy at goal so we'll leave it to the 'powers at be'
  5. If Robbo is ready, then Bate may go. Bartram will play (there's nothing surer). Someone said they get nervous when he's got the ball. Gee, each time Ricky Petterd kicks for goal i cant look!!! Even during the pregame warm he was trying out his Stephen Kernahan helicopters!!!! you would never put any money on James McDonald kicking for goal either!!! So McDonald for Green and thats it
  6. The top 4 pick themselves. Geelong Hawthorn Collingwood - it kills me to say that  Bulldogs The rest of the top 8 are kidding themselves to think they've got a chance. Richmond 9th on percentage, and the rest can book September holidays
  7. Wouldn't have given two years on what he's produced so far. I've been hard on him from the outset. Will gladly be proven wrong, but it wont be in 2009.
  8. Good on you Nathan. At least you know how to have a good time. Sure he's had a tough year, harshly dealt with i reckon by simpletons in this type of forum. If plebs want to criticise the MFC and its on field performances then start with the prima donnas in the midfield. Surely any one in their right mind (obviously not this site) wouldnt expect two undersized backmen to consistently hold down key positions (Bell) If we didnt have have Brad Miller and Nathan Carroll in our team flying the aggression flag, we would be a more inoffensive team than we really are. I reckon Nathan's a great player and the times I've met he's been fantastic. Now to off field indiscretions - you lot would have to be a bunch of Presbyterians or Methodists. You've never gone out with your mates and played up?? Obviously not given the time that some posts are made. It's such a pity that some (most) posters either: 1 Do not have a life; or 2 Have no life or interpersonal skills to make accurate judgements This should be fun..........is my popcorn ready??????
  9. Oh well, it's time to see if he really wants to play footy. Hope he has a blinder. Where are all you lot saying how glad you are with Bell out of the team??? I/C is rather small!!!
  10. Parked underneath and caught the lift up to level 3. Got in the lift and thought i saw Wee Man from Jackass!!! Couldnt see too many other dees on the 50 at the Plugger end. Not too many flags about either. Our numbers were thin but we still outranked them hands down in the intelligence stakes. Had my hands on my phone and wallet the whole game. Spewing i can only make it to two more games this year. Damn those free overseas working trips!!!!!
  11. As much as i love watching Trapper play, and been chastised by Rhino for expressing this, i have moved on. Though most of you have been a little harsh!!! He'll stay in Bris and play well for them. The powers at MFC have been blatantly obvious in regards to the age policy and playing kids. Most of them are showing good signs at this stage.
  12. Casey Scorpions from next year
  13. I know Chris Connolly is happy where he's at this year in terms of recovering from his year off. He's working hard with his disposal. I was a bit worried when he had those two shots at goal in the first qtr on Sunday. As they say in horseracing parlances - he'll be better for the run this year.

    Bartram

The club is happy how Clint is progressing after his lay off. I have a feeling they will persist with him. He is fully aware that his disposal is shocking and is working hard on it. As a kid who came from the TAC and straight into the senior team (pretty sure he hasn't played with Sandy) he's done ok. Although i hate to make comparisions...Matthew Bate had a couple of years at Sandy before he got a Senior game. I think that speaks volumes in developing a kid. He has plenty of potential and time to develop. Remember he the club drafted Sylvia at 3 and Brock at 5? Probably the best no 3 pick who has never showed anything. Thank god for Brock. Persist with these kids like Bartram, Morton, Austin, Buckley, Valenti, Garland. They will probably not win us a flag but they will have a dip. Our premiership window will not re-open for some time.
  15. Obviously corresponding with the unwashed. As for jikajika - how long until you get out off that place!!! I'm amazed at the lack of forethought that go into some of these threads, and am not going to waste any more of my time with imbeciles raving about crap rather than facts. Oh, and Rhino - you're a [censored]
