POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
Great win. Unexpected. Was there and kudos to the cheer squad⦠Last quarter noise was epic.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
When did Jeffo come off? Late in the 3rd? I reckon Jeffo helped our structure a little. FWIW, I moved to Brissy in 2017 and watched Hipwood play week after week⦠He went from an amusement to a grand final player and could have another medal around his neck by years end. Heās no superstar but plays a role. Persistence has helped him.

I donāt think itās fair to bag JVR and Jeffo when youāve got Gunston and Breust at the other end as comparison⦠And they didnāt star. Young fellas just need time. Enjoy the ride⦠And enjoy those moments from Max and Kossie.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Cracking game for 3 and a half quarters. Apart from the goal kicking Iām proud of that effort⦠Itās coming together⦠Never expected to beat the hawks⦠We are warming in to the new gameplay nicely. Langford is an absolute gun.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Great win by the Dees. How about we focus on what brings us together and not what drives us apart⦠I.E Lets keep the politics out of the thread.

Time to go easy on Fritsch
I understand what youāre saying Binners. To me your argument boils down to the fact that heās being asked to play a different position⦠As your second point above indicates that weāve been a high pressure team since 2021 of which Fritta was a part, just playing a different role. Iām prepared to give him time to learn his new job, knowing that he can kick goals. Reference his omission and subsequent call up⦠Itās Goodyās game plan. If Goody thinks that Fritsch is suitable to slot in the side then Iāll back that.

Time to go easy on Fritsch
I dunno fellas. There have always been players that apply manic pressure and those that are more outside players. Iād much prefer the ball in Frittaās hands kicking for goal than pretty much anyone on the team. For example, Tracc is not a reliable snap for goal⦠Even after all the pressure he applies. Ultimately we may have to accept that Fritta is not a high pressure player and his role - as defined by the coaches - is kicking goals⦠Could explain why he burned Spargs in the last. Who knows⦠But you have to kick a score to win⦠And without him Iām not sure thereās enough goal kickers on the list.

Time to go easy on Fritsch
The 3rd quarter goal in the GF he kicked from the centre clearance, crumbing off the back of the pack to get us back in the game is one of my favourite Dees moments ever. Gives me shivers watching it. A bit of humility and empathy goes a long way.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Great win. 3rd quarter epic. Boys took their foot off the pedal in the last. It was obvious. Junk time goals for Richmond. Teams have done it to us in the past and weāve called it out. Shouldnāt be any different when weāre in the lead. Go Dees.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Iām 48. I was there in 1988 and 2000⦠And the Neeld era. But Iāve never been so depressed as an MFC supporter⦠Maybe my age is showing. Iāve been on the fence but I think Iām on the āmove Goody onā train. Too much talent out on the park to be playing this badly. FWIW⦠I think the lads had a good crack.

TRAINING: Wednesday 2nd April 2025
I reckon Clarry matched him for pace. Just couldnāt catch him. Rowell got a head start which gave him a meter. Also ran too far.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Gold Coast
Is it possible that weāve lost focus in the midfield by rotating too many players through? I know we need more than just Trac, Clarry and Vines but the more time others get in there the less our bulls keep their currency. Also noticed a lack of outside mid co-ordination⦠Suns were good at holding space outside stoppage⦠Not so much us.

9 pages in and as far as I can see everyone is in fierce agreement. P.S. Not sure thatās the correct use of sycophant.
