  1. The tank engine is right on track on so it should be.

I would be surprised if we saw trapper, sylvia or bruce again this season.

    why risk them?

Neitz will play against the pies for 300 and we wont see him again. Robbo wont play after this week is my bet.

  2. How quick is he? Like daniel Bell quick. these guys who are fast need to start running with pace.

on bell this kid could turn or defence around. whelan and him could really create if they both played in the same team.

  3. Here's something that may create ire in the eyes of demonlanders...

    Ask yourself this:

Given the circumstances of this year, the squad, the injuries, the coach leaving and the current coach coaching, the obvious semi-tanking tactics at the selection table etc etc... How sure are you that you could go in at over 100% intensity (what the Roos, Pies, Hawks and others bring as they are still in the running for a flag) if you were playing in their places?

I'm grown up enough to say that I'd find a way to have a dip at the footy, to play hard within myself, and still go at 100%... but you're kidding yourself if you think the body-blows they've taken this year aren't having an effect on their morale. I see players that use every ounce of their heart ALL the time, and they still make horrendous blunders, like Brown, and I see players wax and wane in their moods like Robbo, have just as much effect on our year.

You can't bottle confidence, or the inspiration that brings it. MFC is in a low time on-field. I for one EXPECT our better players to be beaten since most of our best are out, and the young guys that are in aren't quite up to it just yet. They're going in as hard as they can find the will to go... Unfortunately without support, and without enough skilled players, and without maturity and leadership we just have to make do with what we have. Our results so far reflect this.

This situation is unfortunate, and we bleed, but don't let's be Richmond eh?

Post of the day. It helps nobody to self implode. negativity only breeds one thing more negativity. the players are trying at the moment it is just completely beyond them. people should accept that move on and look at the positives. stay positive.

    who is improving?

    who is learning valueable lessons?

throwing mud, ranting and raving helps knowone. it just fractures the whole club. essendon are about to self implode you watch. we cant afford to do that.

  4. I think everyone is being to negative. the team is in damage control. they are playing like the end of the season cant come quick enough. when next season starts all the last few games will be forgotten. in fact getting belted will show them how much work needs to be done.

  5. Comrades, if this is Riley doing a good job, then I would hate to see him doing a bad job.

Both Richmond and Carlton are playing with more Mojo than what we are at the moment.

    Biffinator.

dont agree there. Carlton while ok on the weekend were pathetic the week before. Richmond lost by what 10 goals on the weekend.

Riley is doing what he should do. expose the kids and the dregs on the list.

  6. He didn't look mean, he looked like he was about to [censored] himself. Take a look at the footage if you can.

yes he did. brogan made him look like a bit of a girl. brogan has a few screws loose and he is a big unit. I dont know what bell could have done for a split second i think brogan lost control. bells reaction actually stopped him from cutting him in half.

  7. why? Bell should have been smart enough to smile at Brogan who then would have given a free kick away.

Bell has a mean streak that i like. He needs to back up a cheap shot himself. Flying the flag is overrated unless your jonathon brown.

  8. What lesson is that exactly??

Dunn is a very naturally talented player. He moves well, uses the ball well has footy smarts.

But he relies to much on natural ability and not enough on hard work.

He should play as a utility. On the wing, half forward and defence when needed. To do this he needs to bulk up and get fitter a lot fitter. Riley wants him to learn to dominate games. He cant yet do that in a weak AFL team but in a strong Sandy team he should.

  9. I think Riley is better than most people think.

    Watched the game pretty pathetic.

Riley is really exposing the pretenders on the list. He is showing everyone who is good enough and who is not.

The kids are better for it. Long term exposing Mclean is good for him. Sylvia is not fit enough and he leaves him out there to flounder and for a guy with to big an ego that is a good thing. Bate needs to work on his defensive running and he will. Jones is running harder and harder each week. Look at Frawley his development has been great in the last month. He is teaching Dunn a lesson by keeping him in the two's. Get the tape out once a week and show these guys that they need to work harder to get better.

It is becoming more obvious to everyone that miller is a hack, ferg is hopeless. holland lacks skill so does Brown. Godfrey is also finished.

I would rather lose like we did yesterday so the fat on our list is trimmed than to keep players who are not good enough.

Never sprout crap that these types of losses dont do young players any good they do. especially to a club that pats themselves on the back to much.
