I hope you are not referring to me as a pig (sow).
The thread is not to seek sympathy, but rather to discuss whether what we cop from the media and the other clubs is fair and balanced.
Unfortunately there isn't a lot in this comp that is "fair and balanced".......
But our lot is what it is' and it is up to us to fix it. And if others are whinging maybe we are getting something right.
Thankfully we are finally seem to be doing the right thing for this club to get back to where we all want it to be.
Bugger everyone else, we get this right any bitching and moaning won't matter.

It will be kirk.
this will be announced after Fremantles finals campaign.
Kirk. Lock it in!!!
Now wouldn't that be awesome

It is what it is, we now just move on with who we have and who we'll pick up.......
The biggest issue we have always had is developing the great picks we have into the great players we need them to be.
This coach has a well-earned reputation of doing exactly that, so lets hope he brings our kids up properly.
As for the pick, the likelihood was always pretty low, although if our crappiness isn't enough then heaven knows what will be.

Miller was an excellent clubman, while never a great player and did frustrate the living hell out of most of us, he was never questioned in his commitment to the Dees.
He was, and I imagine still is a very hard worker, had true leadership and has Paul Roos' backing now which is more than enough for me.
Personally he was always a favourite of mine and I spent huge amounts of time defending him on here, so I love this move.
Welcome home Brad

Congratulations to all for their wonderful work.....
I've been away from here for a long time & have watched the season with the same horror as everyone else, but the truly excellent membership campaign is a testament to those involved & to those signing up.
I for one am proud of the work being done!!!

Wasnt fun to watch being a Niners fan I can tell you after half time! Finger nails shredded.I'm shocked at the Atlanta-NYG game scoreline. Great game by Kirk Cousins deputising for RG3 as well.
Russell Wilson continues to rack up impressive numbers. ROY contender?
Yeah, but they got there in the end, amazing game, I honestly didn't expect my Niners to pull that off.......
I always thought highly of Cousins coming through Michigan State and was thrilled to see him do so well.
It must be very comforting for the Redskins to know that they have so much class even at back up, not all teams have that.
As for Wilson, he is doing great but I think, given the outstanding year rookie QBs have had he will fall short of Luck or Griffen for ROTY.

he is a massive risk and looks soft, i dont like him at #4
That seems to be a pretty lonely opinion......

Manager said he has coaching aspirations. Time will tell on that.
And was looking forward to "working with a young mid field".......
As opposed to ours, who are apparently drawing pensions!!!

For a bit of fun, I picked a 22 full of players we 'overlooked' at each pick during the Dean Bailey drafts (2007-2010).
B Cameron Pedersen (Nth) Harry Taylor (Geel) Alex Johnson (Syd)
HB Scott Selwood (WCE) Daniel Talia (Adel) Lewis Jetta (Syd)
C Patrick Dangerfield (Adel) Dustin Martin (Rich) Tom Rockliff (Bris)
HF Dayne Beams (Coll) Nat Fyfe (Freo) Mitch Robinson (Carl)
F Jack Darling (WCE) Sam Reid (Syd) Jeff Garlett (Carl)
FO Nick Naitanui (WCE) Michael Barlow (Freo) Luke Shuey (WCE)
IN Sam Jacobs (Adel) Jarryd Blair (Coll) Stewart Crameri (Ess)
Luke Dalhaus (WBull)
I like to call them, 'The Couldabeen Champions'.....
Not much fun to be had there unforutnately.....
But honestly all clubs can put together these kind of lists, of the road not taken.
-
Let the "We should have taken Darling" posts begin.
All too true (on all fronts).....
This is quite sad (esecially given his draft number), but I wouldn't exactly call it a big shock.

What's the point of b!tching and moaning about this kind of stuff RR? It doesnt all of a sudden change what's already happened! Ease up on the polls and threads like this. They're counter productive and only result on your average Demon supporter getting (even more) depressed!
I tend to agree.....
Was Darling a missed opportunity? Of course he was, along with a multitude of others over the years.
Are the players we have now disappointing us all to the point of insanity? Yes, they are but at the end of the day, they are ours (and we are theirs) and
it's not like they are a completely untalented lot. It is there or at least it was, but the biggest issue I have is that it has not been brought on in any way shape and form.
Bad choices happen and maybe Cook will be another one, but poor player development is inexcusable and all too common here.
-
This year has highlighted the awfulness of the past seven years of player non development and rewarding player non performance
This is sadly very, very true......

For me Jack is one of the few Glimmers we have left....
I agree Tatu, the hate on here is amazing, who needs the press when we can turn on our own......
That being said, he sure as hell needs to toughen up and get himself more involved in the game.
He has more pure skill than most anyone, but the physicality (and body strength) is a real concern.
We need this to improve, he needs to want to be great, but he is not the only, or even our biggest concern.

One of my favourite players, despite his limited abilities......
I congratulate him for making the most of those, thank him for his service to the Dees, and wish him all the best in his future.

Bradford will be good, I have no doubt, we need a offensive line that can hold and let him settle and some recievers to have time to get down field a little.
I've always had faith in Bradford, he isn't the issue for the Rams......
But new coach (as well as Sam's third OC in as many seasons) will take a bit of getting used to.
The first half may be a little shakey but despite my need for them not to, I think the Rams will get better as the season goes on.

Who is Kelvin Lawrence and why does it matter
It probably doesn't but it may be spewed in the press as a player walking out of the club....
Which does no one any favours, unfortunately.

Heard a bit of news that Terrell Owens is heading to Seattle ? 1mil ? . Be good to see him run around again if true . Have you heard of any last minute player movement's Dappa ? Or anybody else if you're reading this post . pantaloons ? DemonDave ?
I'm starting to get keen for this NFL season to get going ! Though the practice games have already started .
Your blokes had a win over the Steelers ... Packers went down to the Chargers ... San Fran go around tomorrow and Houston the day after ... http://www.nfl.com/
Edit : I found this site (below) for all the player movements but I've no idea how up to date it is ... http://www.fftoolbox...ings.cfm?pos=QB
I feel so sorry for the Seahawk Quarterbacks with TO on the way.......
He has already got into a snip with the coach, Pete Carroll, regarding the number the club assigned him. Funny footage!!!
As for my beloved Niners, they beat the Vikes pretty handily yesterday, but honestly pre-season is not exactly what we want to see. Although it was great to see both our QB's play some good ball. Especially since for a near champion team last year Alex Smith was easily the weakest of his kind out there.

Dunn to me is an enigma......
We seem to have a few (maybe too many) of those.......
-
Melbourne rookie Kelvin Lawrence walks out on the club, ending his two-year career with the Demons.....
-
There's going to be some massive culling at the end of the year.
One would hope........

Very amusing but no Tania Zaetta (Bollywood connections aside) in this little sing a long!!!
He was professing his "love" through song, for this young lady.......

Dunn ....hard?? Blow me down with a feather
I think it's the mo, it confuses people

Very happy to see Ablett win tonight.......
He is a wonderful player and obviously a very classy person.
As for the Dees, well an awful season gets the results it truly deserved.
So onwards and upwards for next season, hopefully!!!
