I would upgrade Harmes and rookie Hunt i.e. swap their roles. Hunt has been set back by injury. I suspect Harmes will be the reason the club move Jack watts on as he may well fill the role that was earmarked for Jack even though he is 10 cm shorter.
I understand Hunt is contracted for 2016. He cannot be rookied, even if there were a sensible argument for doing it. The upgrade for Harmes seems a certainty, though.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was traded.
It's all straws in the wind, but they're all flying one way. I'm getting pretty confident he'll be traded, and I suspect only Simon Goodwin could put a stop to it.

I expect several of the Giants will be putting their best foot forward in the hope of catching Paul Roos' eye.

I suppose there might even be some Demonlanders who might actually want to give him a final cheer.

I think I'll take a year off from footy. Should be good for me.

The TV still goes berko when he takes a screamer, but the fans are less impressed because we know he only has a moderate impact on games. He's worth his place in the 22, but that's about all.

Being only a recent member of the JW fan club, I watched him a bit on Sunday, and he wasn't very good. On one occasion he had the ball at HBF and stood scanning the field for several seconds. There was just no-one to kick to. As a key distributor, Jack plays best when the team are going well, but if they're not making space his job gets harder. The flu explanation for team lethargy is at least plausible.

You can both get jeffed.. Puopolo. Clasic Demonland attacking posters not talking about the subject..
Puopolo's- reffering to him being of similar "ilk" is that better?
Dead right, Coup, "ilk" is another word people blatantly misuse to sound stylish.
Or so methinks.

Surely we can find something better for Robbo to do than spruik for our sponsors in each break. Howie's Hangers is okay, but the other rubbish is just embarrassing. Were there actually any Melbourne supporters sitting in the bay that won the Demon Shop vouchers?
Just a noisy, intrusive ad for an end-of-season clearance sale. Megalo, Megalo, Megalo!

Following Melbourne must be a dream for philosophers who subscribe to logical fallacies. When Melbourne are the bookies' favourite, they do not win. When Melbourne is not favourite they (sometimes) win. Ergo, when Melbourne are not favourites they are more likely to be favoured to win. I reckon there's a PhD in this for someone.
Or at least a koan.

James Hird's insurance company will cover him for costs incurred in defending himself against legal action, but not for costs incurred in actions he has initiated.
The action he lost and the appeal cost a total of about 650 grand, which they refuse to cover.
So he's suing them.
The guy's got his finger superglued to the self-destruct button.

A certainty for upgrade, you would think.

Cannot understand why this is even a question.

Before this thread gets locked, can I just say, I didn't care less if Goodes got booed or not (I think enough is enough now though) but I really like all these tribal dance/war cry celebrations and reckon we should see more of them anyway.
Certainly better than Mark Williams' duck-hunter dance

I loved the expression on Nathan's face after it broke up, and also Gus giving the dome a polish as they walked off.

Isnt it obvious but let's not discuss it.
I was pleased to hear on Friday night that there was acknowledgement that a certain player may be getting booed for reasons other than race. From none other than Hamish, brother of the village idiot.
I thought it was pretty obvious why the question was asked. But let's not discuss it.

Umm I think you need to re read the thread.
It was my comment and I just added "and a war dance".
Did it not take place?
I just add it to the stat's listed.
Butter wouldn't melt in your mouth, old dee.

it just comes down to one point - if you're going to enter the political arena and you act like a prat then you are going to get crucified. Thats whats happened. Yes there are racists jumping on the bandwagon . No doubt . but i object to all being labelled as such
Thing is, if you stand with the racists and do what they're doing, you're lining up with them.
If you fly with the crows you get shot with the crows, and bleating about it won't make you an innocent lamb.

The remark was made in response to applying for a priority pick. We didn't get one last year at all.
And for that matter, we didn't get a Friday night game either although we did get one this year (and that was a Richmond home game so they got the financial benefit).
We were knocked back for a priority pick after other clubs opposed it, but then we got Pick 3 for Frawley, way overs in my opinion. In effect we got a Clayton's PP, the usual dodgy AFL compromise.

Does that mean they are covering only the 2nd half? OP says 12 noon start.
Delayed broadcast to increase the gate.

The new trumpeter was there yesterday. He was just starting up when the siren sounded - short quarter - so he held back and started again in sync with the PA.

For mine, you would want to keep Garland, Gawn, Fitz, Toump , Pedo, Cross (another year) Harmes and King. Don't know enough about White.
Cut White and you'll wind up getting another rookie on the same money - you have to fill the list. He'll stay. Jamar's retirement would free up some money, but the salary cap is certainly an issue. Confident it will be sorted.

I fee very sure that Trenners will play next year - but then, I've used a lot of illegal drugs in my time.
