  1. unrestricted free agent at the end of 2018 https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/western-bulldogs-free-agent-luke-dahlhaus-a-high-priority-for-several-rival-clubs/news-story/cc2077bffa951a63dc35c2e287b42882 i've always liked him as a player personally he'd be another mid / forward combo player but in terms of free agents at the end of the year, i'd rather get gaff
  2. Matt Suckling (born 25/7/88) is a free agent this year and would add some outside run and skill. Obviously we would need to make him a decent contract offer to lure him away from Hawthorn. Moreover, we wouldn’t go after Suckling unless we signed Colin Garland because we would lose any compensation. As much as Suckling isn’t a big fish, he could add some much needed class and we could still continue to build for the future through the draft. This idea also assumes we don’t get Paddy Dangerfield.
  3. His names come up a bit as a potential free agent so thought he deserved his own thread. Promise I'll make this my last for today everyone! Just turned 30 earlier this year, 205 AFL games but hasn't played since round 8 this year due to the Bulldogs looking to add some youth to their ageing midfield. Over the course of his career averaged just under 24 touches a match and was still getting over 21 touches a match this year before being dropped. Could help with our clearances in the middle, especially if Rodan is moved on at seasons end and would probably have 2 years left in him I reckon. Brings in good experience and leadership and could also play the tagging role which would make McKenzie and Nicholson redundant, however unlike those two Cross can get the ball himself and knows his limitations. Wonder how people would feel about Cross crossing to the Dess? http://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/player-profile/daniel-cross
  4. I was wondering who on D'land believes they can see into the mind of MFC's Coaching and List Management Staff and are able to successfully pick 3 players not currently on our list, who will be at the Demons after all the different the trade period ends. (29 November 2012) You can say why you think the Club would have them if you like but it not essential. Get your picks in Before Oct 1 2012. Then when November 29 2012 rolls up we will go back over and see who the was the closest. The winner will receive no accolades or prizes other than the knowledge that for a short time in their life they won a meaningless competition, and Something to do in the lull between Footy Seasons, and A little smugness (and only a little please), and A little strutting action, and finally, A head held high. My Picks 1. Josh Drummond 2. Chris Knights 3. Jordan Russell
