You could argue that on just about every topic relating to the club's performance and add further that it's not the coaches and the football department who have to do their bit but the board and all the staff who have to keep the club stable and the money rolling in so we have good coaches, recruiters etc. Much of what your pointing out really goes without saying.

The highlight reel highlights the deficiencies of highlight reels. It shows that Daniel Rioli is a very good attacking footballer with fantastic reflexes and the ability to read the play well but it doesn't show any of the defensive pressure that makes Cyril such a great player for the Hawks. This is not a knock on him but I'd like to see how Daniel plays when the opposition has ball in hand before making my assessment on how he would go at AFL level.

If you're good in a particular line of work and not under contract, it's a given that you have the right to choose your work place. That's not being petulant.
