  1. Haha I went with three other cats supporters to that game, from memory it was the 3rd round of 2005 and we gave them a bath, it was when Bruce was brownlow favourite and polled 8 out of the first 9 votes available. The funny thing about that Bartel bump was that Moloney didn't actually touch Bartel, he just went down, and Moloney got done for two weeks!! When else has not touching a player (racial vilification excepted) resulted in a suspension?
  2. With the Morton decision, I remember the fox commentary team said that the umpire was blindsighted and almost tried to defend him on this. If the umpire is blindsighted, how can he make a decision at all? I am much more accepting of an umpire missing a decision because they were blindsighted, but making a decision when they couldn't see exactly what was going on? That's just bull! And the legging of Bruce at the end of last years game! No matter how you look at it, that cost us the game. And had we won, it wouldn't have hurt our draft picks. That was an absolute shocker.
  3. Haha enjoying my inclusion, despite not having played too many games! (posts, that is)
  4. Thought so! I was thinking at the time to myself, what if it was close... Still, who cares, WINNER!!!!
  5. So good to get a win and not be robbed again, as soon as the umpires gifted that free kick to Bradshaw, I thought that was it, so it was great to see the boys put in and get those two goals to win it. It was pure elation when wonna ran from the half-back line at the 35 minute mark, we knew we had the game won. Bloody awesome. Must say, the umpiring today was absolutely deplorable. Incidentally did anyone think Bradshaws snap in the first or second quarter that was ruled out of bounds was actually a point? Could be a point of controversy! But who cares, we won and we thoroughly deserved it. Go the mighty Dees!!
  6. They said the announcement would be after 4, I really wanted to cheer on big Neita one last time on the ground!
  7. It really was a loud, crazy yet intimate atmosphere at the ground yesterday. Full points to those who attended. There were heaps of new 'Melbournefc' flags being waved all over the ground, did the club hand these out before the game? They looked fantastic in the second half. Ah, Mondays are nice again!
  8. I spoke to the man last night, Coxy will be there, he's been working like a trojan and hasnt been on demonland for a while
  9. Imtoohot was our BOG for the last game, so good to see him on the list!
  10. I am in too! I'd prefer a spot in the forward pocket, happy to do a few minutes in the midfield too, but no tagging! I'm a shirking front-runner!
  11. Haha when I took my sock off a bit of skin came with it! LUURRVEELY, my blisters are still weeping which was quite ridiculous. cheers to everyone involved today, it really was great fun and good to meet a couple of the posters, can't wait till the next game, it might be pretty soon yeah?
  12. Bold me up Bryza! Where is the sale of Melbourne merchandise? The dees store on Brunton avenue? I lost my guernsey somehow! Might be joining you Coxy
  13. Cheers for the read Trav, I'm glad that of late you've been hitting demonland on a regular basis. That 2002 SF was an incredible game. I doubt you will see a guy play a better two quarters of footy. And a team for that matter, it was incredible. How shattering it was to lose
  14. Miller for pick 11. What are you on? Not a chance in hell, surely you jest?
  15. I've been thinking, choosing Carlton is totally contrary to what Judd wanted, i.e. good facilities, a team with a winning culture, the chance of immediate success and to be able to play on the MCG. Although I agree that 1.8 mill is fairly tempting for anyone, and the future roles and jobs being lined up are certainly a plus, but you never know, he might have chosen the Blues because they could compensate the eagles the best, with top picks and another decent player in Kennedy. You never know, we might have even discussed trades, and not have had a better offer than Carlton. Who knows, just trying to make something rational out of smoke and mirrors.

  17. Wanna put me down in the forward pocket? More of a burst player, lazy mercurial forward, like Aaron Davey, without the pace and accuracy! Seriously though, I'm up or it. It's a crap time of year, but you've gotta have fun still!
  18. Haha also realised tonight that Coxy is actually a mate from school, we ripped up thirds cricket together on many an occasion (If it's possible to rip up thirds cricket)
  19. Haha me too deestroy, it's quite difficult. Most people are on the Australia network, which is nice and vague
  20. I just hope there is news before I go away, talk about putting me on cloud 9 before a holiday! I've got a ball on friday night, so I'm hoping there is some sort of tv so I can watch the cats smack the pies. Haha, ok I'm getting my hopes up way too much about Judd, need to find a way of suppressing this excitement. Perhaps I should do an assignment or something...
  21. It's so true, it's actually impossible to concentrate right now. I'm gonna be away and disconnected next week which will be tough cos more news is going to come out and I'll probably miss it. Right now I'm checking demonland every five minutes...The more I read, the more chance I think we have
  22. I'm on board, I was invited by the Brock Mclean Appreciation Society!
