If Geelong somehow blows this it would be the biggest choke in Football History.

Going to have to take the long way to Melbourne for the next 12 months.

Only thing normal about this game is Gary Rohan's Grand Final form.

Umpires should never guess.

Geelong really haven't got reward for effort so far.

How often do you see attack attack attack no score and straight down the other end for a goal.

Watching all this coverage today and all I can see is Red and Blue every where.

You would want a total clean out, those involved and those who kept quite while it was allowed to happen. . The action of a few or maybe many is not the fault of the club or the supporter, their just left hold the can after the events. 

 BREAKING: In a statement, the Lions have confirmed the club and Chris Fagan have 'mutually agreed' he take a leave absence as he cooperates with the AFL investigation into the Hawthorn allegations.

I won't cut and paste but Luke Hodge said he had never heard allegations like this while he was at the club "to the extent of the terrible stuff in there [the article]".

Interesting that he said " to the extent of the terrible stuff in there" Not never happened.

Need to wait for a response from The Hawks and from the AFL but if proven true I don't see how Clarkson and Fagan can stay in the game.

I watched that game last year and have watched a few time again since. And out of the two teams it was Melbourne that was totally sick.

Already opened the betting for next year. Clarry at $9 Trac at $17 and Dees at $8.

 Given the Dees finished 5th in 2022, I thought I’d go and check who finished 5th in 2021 and how we might get a similar draw - and who we could play twice. 
So Lions finished 5th. Knocked out like the Dees in straight sets. Lions played Dees, Giants, Saints, Bombers & Suns twice.  That’s 1st, 7th,8th,10th,16th. So hypothetically Dees would play Cats, Tigers, Bulldogs, Saints and Giants twice. That’s ok. 
 

Some thoughts for 2023 to start 

1- special games: a) play home games v Tigers (Anzac day), b) v Pies (Kings birthday) , c) v Giants in the NT game. 
2-  play Cats,  Blues, Bombers and Saints at the MCG. $$$$$$$s 

3- play last round at home v Cats at the G. 
4- interstate games x 6 -v Swans, v Giants, v Suns (during July school holidays) v Crows, v Eagles, v Freo. 
5- play Lions and Power at the MCG. 
 

HOME-  10 MCG games v Tigers, Pies, Cats, Blues, Saints, Bulldogs, Bombers, Lions, Power, Kangas. Plus NT game   

Interstate games 6… plus “local” away games Hawks (MCG) Cats (GMHBA), Tigers (MCG), Bulldogs ( Marvel) , Saints(Marvel). 
 

Anyway it’s really in the hands of the AFL team of actuaries and their marketing department!!!  

Asked the AFL said we can have what's left after Geelong Collingwood Richmond Carlton Essendon and the interstate teams have had their wish list filled.
