Pj is a graet match up 4 hille, so mobile.. what a tantalising match up! No lucas, Warnock to Lloyd, Dunn on Watson, I actually think were a huge chance, very confident!!

I forecast it could happen 2 weeks ago, and now it has.. What is everyones opinion on it? I think its deserved, no real cause for alarm, just needs to work into a bit of form.. Cant beleive Bell is still there, Petterd for Bell would be nice.. but, I trust its for a reason..! A run with sandy will do Nate the world of good, its no disgrace these days, he really is struggling with the close attention!

Brock or Green.. Id go green to be more deserving, he bleeds for our jumper! But Brock as VC then next skipper..

Damn straight!! B)

No, I share your sentiment! Watts 4 me, I honestly believe it'll be him anyway! He's our man!

good post! interesting stats mate, things raelly are looking up! -
Not similiar at all! Harvey a creative type, goalkicker, lots of skill, Valenti a tough goer! Wishful thinking! Good player in his own right though!

im 24.. Looks as though most are mid-early 20's..
-
Cale the tallest by a fair way.. He's now about 194cm apparently.. Jarryd & Mitch about 189-191cm.. they are also bulkier atm.. Cale has also put on a few kg's lately, plenty 2 go though.. Dont worry bout Cale guys, he will be something to saviour, relax.. Alot of other clubs are envious of what we have with him, was seen long term, was not even supposed to of played more than 4 or 5 games this year, so he is well ahead of schedule, which is promising.. remember, 6 or 7 clubs said they would of taken him no.1! nothing has changed!

I have alraeday watched, you cant compare the 2 imo... Im not saying Rich wouldnt be great, but Watts has the possibility of being special, the X factor, "it"..etc.. Watching WAtts there is very very exciting! Maybe its just me, but im "watts-cinated"..

grenny, but watch 4 wheatley, very close imo!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGzqCIRgJLw...feature=related Pls watch.. I rest my case.. Hope it works! if not, type in jack watts, on youtube, piock the one titled Jack Watts U-18 Champs 2008 Ive NEVER heard a crowd at a under 18's get so pumped when he takes that pack mark! Watch it, and think hes done even better when no cameras, you CANNOT pass this kid up!

Ok, u refer to eagles.. One side.. What about the Kangaroos, Bombers, Swans, The dominant Hawthorn sides.. Geelong, they came together when Mooney, Ottens, Johnson and N Ablett clicked! I see ur point.. But though you may think midfield is more important, I tend to agree.. My point, again, is that they are easier to put together in a quicker period of time, talls take longer to develop and are much much harder to find! How many truly good talls are their atm? how many good mids are their?? Thats my point.. Watts is far rarer than Rich.. Both great players.. But Watts harder to get, and get right! There will be 4 or 5 Rich's in the draft.. in a broad sense! Carey, Hall, G Ablett Sr, Lockett, Silvagni, Jakovich, Mooney, Neitz, Brown, Franklin.. They are rare, thus special.. Judd, Harvey, Black, Cousins, G Ablett Jr, Bartel, West, Cooney..etc.. They are great, great players.. But there is alot more of them out there 2 spread around..
-
Greatly put! Totally agree with you..
-
My point is that midfielders are easier to come by! I agree with your point, but you need to understand taht midfielders can be drafted anywhere.. if there is 100 kids that get drafted, 65-75 of them are midfielders.. thats my point! Rich may be the best of them right now, but you could pick 1 up at pick 20 who is not far off! this is how most recruiters think, thats the truth!
-
well articulated mate.. But no thanks.. Midfielders are dime a dozen.. THis draft has 2 much to offer.. Watts is the 1.. If he's gone, Nait's the man.. The smart money says Watts though.. I'd even take Hurley over Rich..
-
Great point, totally agree.. Kids putting up a much better fight, cus they have 2, youth youth youth.. Go Bails! I think about 40% with a GOOD injury run!

Nate is really having a lot of trouble with being tagged. He's never going to be a superstar, more a player with a good strong motor. But IMO he has been under the radar lately, playing some very average footy, and might only be a bad game or 2 away from getting a run with Sandy, more to get some confidence than being dropped due to not being good enough. It appears the tag really gets under his skin. Lets hope he can overcome it.. As he is a great talent, has plenty of flaws, but is a very much required player. Would love to see him firing again.

Clever one that..

Whoa! Relax buddy.. Im not saying play him FF, in a traditional sense! Im talking about having him 1 out, from the square, move the ball down there long and fast! For 5-10min bursts now and then, thats all!! Cale will be a KPP, eventually.. Im just wanting to see him 1 on 1 versus a shorter opponent, as he has great speed, thus 2 quick 4 bigger defenders.. I dont want him to be our FF!
-
Yes, I must admit I had my doubts.. But they have subsided.. Looking great of late.. He is turning into the "line breaking" player we so desperately desire! Dunno bout "little fella" though, he's 6'2..
-
LOL.. Fair enough.. I still think its worth a go 4 short bursts.. But yes, I 2 cannot wait 4 him to bulk up, look out world
-
Well he has Exceptional take off speed! so I dont see why not!
