Wasn't that what the whole 186 thing was all about?

How much are we going to sue him for?

FB: Jetta Frawley Garland HB: Grimes McDonald Terlich C: Bail Viney M. Jones HF: Tapscott Sylvia Davey FF: Kent Howe Byrnes Foll: Clark N. Jones Trengove Int: Sellar Dunn Blease Evans Not sure the exact ins and outs but there is a lot. I'm not keen on keeping Sylvia in the team but the bottom of the barrel was being scraped.

CASEY SCORPIONS v FRANKSTON
Straight Sets Simon replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Glad to hear Casey won, but they were playing against a part-time team. Therefore they should win every time. -
What If Our Players Just Aren't Very Good
Straight Sets Simon replied to Chook's topic in Melbourne Demons
I hate the fact that Neeld keeps referring to this year as a "development year". It may be true but the players are playing like it is. Why not say we are passed development and are looking for results? The players probably don't feel as though they are a chance of competing when their coach keeps talking them down. -
Watching so many good games of football today, seeing players work hard for each other with and without the ball I don't think I've ever been so jealous.

CASEY SCORPIONS v FRANKSTON
Straight Sets Simon replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
It is a joke that AFL listed players can't dominate their Frankston opponents. -
It is painful to watch the lack of effort and football smarts when it comes to Melbourne picking up opposition. Part of the issue is that we just don't have leaders to out on the ground to tell teammates to man-up.

The club needs to bring in outside help. The players obviously don't respond to the same voices. Bring in a David Parkin or a Wayne Carey, get them to look them in the eye and ask why they aren't giving their all.

Neeld's Pre-Game Address
Straight Sets Simon replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
You can still show emotion and some kind of connection with the players even if it isn't just before they run out on the ground. -
I'm sure it will be available online at some stage for those who missed it, but it was the most awkward, condescending speech I've ever seen. The message and the key points were fine but he doesn't lift and inspire, he talks down and is so void of any emotion it is frightening.
-
We could have half a dozen "star" players and the same problems would still exist. I really can't see what Toumpas brings to the table.
-
Same situation for me, watching with two non-football people they couldn't believe how bad that "speech" was.
-
I was shouted down when I suggested Watts would go back to basketball last year.
-
Why was Toumpas drafted?
-
McDonald is putrid.
-
I just fell asleep during Neeld's pre-game address.
-
The point is that data means SFA if not applied in games as we have seen for both Watts and Trengove. What I like about Viney is that although not naturally a speedster, he is quick over the first five metres, whereas Trengove is more of a slow burn and this isn't shown in the testing.
-
Apparently Watts is quick too, how often do you see him use his speed?
-
He was far from quick in 2010 and 2011.

How and why did you become a Melbourne supporter?
Straight Sets Simon replied to Webber's topic in Melbourne Demons
I just loved watching Brent Grgic play, almost switched to Geelong when he was traded there. -
I wanted to bring myself out of excite to simply say this post sums up my thoughts perfectly.
