  1. Does not have the smarts to play AFL.
  2. This is what annoys me, running doesn't take talent. The players either don't think to run (if they are told once that should be enough for their entire career) or they are too lazy.
  3. It's amazing that every Sydney and Geelong player sprints as soon as they get the ball, Melbourne players jog.
  4. I don't know what to say, so I wrote a poem (I don't usually write poems). At 7.30 my Demon heart sank, when I heard we spoke to some bloke, Dank. It was bad enough they broke the bank, despite assurances we did not tank. Now we know we were not frank, and today it's clear that something stank. But do not cry or walk the plank, because Jack Watts returns to a half-back flank.
  5. I didn't even see the first half yet besides a few individual atrocities I feel ten times better than last week.
  6. The three-year contract is looking good, big men take a while to develop.
  7. Did he say who he would then choose the next time around to coach?
  8. I struggle to see how he was drafted, let alone at pick 4. Cale Morton Mark II?
  9. What annoys me most is that the main areas where Melbourne are rubbish (effort, running, spreading, tackling and teamwork) have nothing to do with talent.
  10. Does anyone else cry when they think we could have had Jack Darling?
  11. He looks like he doesn't know how to run even if he could. Not selecting Wines could be yet another failure.
  12. I'm really worried about Toumpas, I just don't see anything in him yet.
  13. I've always said Garland has the worst football brain in the AFL.
  14. I haven't seen the whole game so happy to be corrected.
  15. Evans has looked good from what I've seen.
  16. I've only watched from second half but Garland continues to frustrate.
  17. My guess would be because he ambushed the team down at Sorrento.
  18. Matt "Phil Scully" Thompson from AFL Media.
  19. He talks like a politician. Today's "Working Families" is "looking after the players".
  20. "If you need to use banners for motivation you're no chance."
  21. Win? I just want to see the players actually play as something that loosely resembles a team.
  22. I'm by no means a Watts fan and should be dropped, but I'm curious to see him line up in the middle. No doubt I'd regret it but curious nonetheless.
  23. I've spoken to quite a few non-Melbourne supporters about this and they all say how depressing his talk was. Again, the message was good but he is so void of any emotion or connection with the players that in no way does what he says resonate with them.
  24. I hate to single out Grimes because he actually tries but there were numerous occasions at the centre bounces where he was a full second slower to react to the bounce. As a result his opponent was well in front of him and ready to receive the tap.
