No, forward runs to centre of ground (nowhere near the ball which is in the opponents forward line), teammates in said forward line get ball so forward runs back to his forward line. He could have just stayed in his own forward line and provided an option running towards the teammate instead of running away from him.

Forwards who push up to the centre of the ground only to sprint back when their teammates get the ball are equally useless.

I've been banging on about this for years but I hate all the players being in one half (forward line even) of the ground. I still don't see why coaches don't leave one or two players in their own forward line and see if the opposition are brave enough to leave them unaccounted for.

Garland gave five free kicks and out of interest Matt Jones gave away eight free kicks.

Of those players you can safely say Terlich, Fitzpatrick, Georgiou, Spencer, Byrnes and Trengove won't play. Toumpas, Bail, Vince, Michie, M. Jones and Howe are all touch and go for various reasons.

Sam Mitchell is still criminally underrated, Tom Hawkins is grossly overrated and I wouldn't have Goddard in my top 100 players.

I think it can, I like the Ken Hinkley attitude of when he spoke to players like Kane Cornes by saying he would extend their careers. Positive attitude.

My tongue was firmly in my cheek, I expect us to make finals. That is always my expectation.
