  1. Any number of players could have won it this round, shows how good Oliver's debut was.
  2. Dangerfield is a great player and Smith was always the best value recruit.
  3. If you Google "AFL Smart Replay" you can watch replays for free.
  4. The caption at the bottom ruins it for me.
  5. Yes, but you're the most pessimistic person I've seen on Demonland ever.
  6. That was his first genuine lead to the ball all day.
  7. Spot on for all points, couldn't agree more.
  8. The Bulldogs ended up with just under 28,000 on a Sunday, great effort.
  9. Who was the umpire who didn't see the GWS player throw the ball even though he was five metres away with a clear view?
  10. It will be the most even season in decades.
  11. I felt safe with the ball in his hands yesterday.
  12. It's funny you say that. The way Watts is playing is exactly what he did in those highlight videos, even how he is moving is the same.
  13. North Melbourne, who played in preliminary finals last year and are supposedly in "contention" this year could only manage just over 25,000 to their game against Adelaide. We had over 28,000 against GWS!
  14. Wrong. Hogan barely attempted a lead or three quarters, he was forcing the midfield to sit it on his head.
  15. I can't believe so many people were thinking Sydney would drop off.
  16. Out: O. McDonald (injured or dropped), Harmes/Bugg In: Dunn, Brayshaw I would not be upset if Tyson was dropped, Frost stays in simply to help Gawn and Pedersen in the ruck.
  17. I can't stress this enough, Melbourne taking Oliver at pick 4 truly is remarkable. In years gone by we would have just followed the "experts" and taken Parish (Scully, Trengove, Morton and Toumpas) but somehow without playing a game our recruiting team (along with some of us on here) were able to see the talent he has.
  18. I really like Pedersen in the backline. He played a bit for Casey there a while ago and was very good, not sure why it hasn't been used more.
  19. He didn't offer any leads in the first three quarters, his teammates were forced to sit it on his head because he simply wasn't moving.
  20. Ugly, but effective.
  21. How anyone can give Hogan votes is beyond me. 6. Viney 5. Watts 4. Kennedy 3. Gawn 2. T. McDonald 1. Oliver
