Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Im lazy, but where did the 800K figure come from? If that is the missing piece that lands us a flag, it's worth every penny/draft pick.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Adelaide has had a terrible run since the free agency era began. Maybe worse than any other club. So many high profile players seeking trades, or simply jumping ship. It's great isn't it.

I keep reading they are Dee fans through and through. Can't see him going anywhere else.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
If we play every game till the end like we have the past several weeks, high profile players will be climbing over each other to come to us, just like the Hawks of the past decade. Would love Lever, but must admit that every improved performance by O-Mac and Frost is turning my eyes elsewhere. We are almost at the point of using our war chest, and trading away our early draft picks for a shot at a flag. Reckon this might be the year to pull the trade trigger.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Watts can't mark over his head to save himself. In fact he decidedly average for a bloke of his size (Contested I mean), whereas T Mac is quite good offensively. I'm liking what I see of Tommy the past few weeks, and with a star like Lever in defence, we would be blessed with options at both ends of the ground. I thought our mob said only a couple of years ago that it had built a "war chest"? About bloody time we used it, as the time is right now.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Agree, a star CHB is worth that, under the new cba. We have many good young players we need to keep though, and others will undoubtedly come sniffing.

Johannisen wants $800k per season?!?!?! Good god! He is not worth anything remotely close to that.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Blinkers. Joe Daniher or Sam Weidemann? Right now, its Danners by the length of the Flemington straight, and I'm a fan of Weids. Sorry, realised I'm posting on a Melksham thread. I think Goody has found his niche. He can be a stopper who also finds his own ball, and makes his opponent accountable defensively with his natural attacking instincts. Lets hope his very recent form continues. btw, have a look at the team song from the Eagles game. I think it's fair to say Jake is heavily invested in the club now. He was screaming the words louder than I was.

Clarence Oliver
Have a listen to the replay again. If Dermott was voting, Oliver would be holding every award possible at this point. He cannot stop raving about him. Derm has more of a clue than most re Clarry.

whole lot of typing to not make a point.

Is there a futures market for the Brownlow? Once the umpires can see as fast as Oliver can gather/dispose, he will win in a canter. I'd put a grand on him now.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Reckon we might see him develop in a similar fashion to big Max. Seemed very "meh", until one day he just started pulling in everything, and hasn't looked back. Might be at least another full season or so, at a guess.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
They didn't? Did they? Another win for the imbeciles. Misuse a word for long enough, and it becomes a "real" word. Or a made up saying like "dont give a rat's tossbag" ffs, it was always a nutsack.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
I'm not so sure about that. Take a very very close look at Oliver every single time he is near the ball. He already does things that are so fast, the commentators dont have time to mention his possession before it has found its way to a team mate who had no right to receive the ball. For all the hype about 'Trac, I honestly think some of our supporters haven't quite realised the AFL top 10 talent we have on our hands with Oliver.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
These people are without doubt some of the slimiest creatures to ever be involved in our great game. I reckon its a deflection, and a deal has already been done to hand it back to the convicted drug cheat after the heat dies down.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
That's where some of us differ Grape. The simple fact that he is such a weasel that he wants to keep a medal tainted by drug cheating, is enough reason for me to want the rage to continue.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Why? This is a discussion site, and he and his family are a worthy point of discussion. If no laws are being broken, why give the man a break of any kind? This website is not about to push him over the edge. I see no reason at all to close the thread. And Jab, ya drug cheat, hand back the bloody medal!!!

How can he possibly be fielding calls while doing a 10km run? That's what he was doing right?

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
His incessant grin, and the ugly smirk of the great feminist warrior and drug cheat Watson make my teeth grind also. You are free to speak for me on this issue Choke.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Yep, clearly sanctioned by the afl. They want things their own way, and are softening up The government must stay strong, and pull the pin on this. Simply disgusting.
