Agree with the goal kicking part, but disagree that he is a laser boot in the same way many of the hawks lefties are. That's what I was comparing him to.
-
Not nearly enough to draw comparisons to the dawks though, to be fair. Still, looking forward to Salem using his skills off a wing. The forwards would be licking their lips.

Our last G game v Carlton. That's my tip, with a smaller sendoff against the cats, unless of course, we sneak a win. Will we give him a standing ovation at 3/4 time? Dunno, but I would like to give the ovation to whoever in the afl inner sanctum, convinced him to take over. It may well have saved us from extinction. And make no mistake, it was AFL inspired.
-
Tommy Bugg. Jack Viney. Dom Tyson Ben Kennedy. No laser feet in that lot.
-
Ignore it. Sanity prevails.

Roos was always said to have thought draft picks were over rated, and that he was happy to trade for a known quantity. Seems in this case that Hibberd is the latest target. He certainly fills a gap in our list, and who isn't happy seeing a more physical Dees now?
-
Yep, that's it. Just lazy, is all......
-
Methinks that other essedon kook has re appeared. What was its name again? reality something something? sanity prevails. thats's it
-
urgh, what a pointless thing to do. Showing some spine, would be the Dees trying to convince Hibberd or whoever else that is drug affected, to go through the supposedly legal process of getting across to us without having to pay. Its quite simple. Anything to avoid dealing with Dodo the greedy. You have heard that essedon is said to be in the process of doing a vaguely similar, but underhanded action with a Brisbane player? If you want to get stronger, you need to use the rules to your advantage. There is a rule, and I hope Melbourne can convince Hibberd to use it.

Throughout the entire fiasco, I have been reading that the players can elect to leave as "delisted free agents", under the breach of care law. That means we can poach them for nothing. All it requires is that our club, and the players concerned have the backbone to advise the afl that they will exercise that right, under threat of court proceedings. And from what I have been reading on Demonland, that's what the roadblock seems to be. A lack of spine. Typical.
-
Ah, not sure how we pick them up as de-listed free agents on one hand, then "chuck in" Terls/Dunn/Garland...... I say lets be hard nosed. They deserve nothing less.
-
Mate...... Its dodo. He will want an early first round pick for Hibberd, and 2 x first round picks for Hurley. Just for once, lets do the sensible thing for our club, tell both essendrug, and the afl to go to hell, and do everything we can to get both of these blokes for free. Anything less would be taking the pissant option yet again. If the law is there, lets use it.
-
That doesn't mean he barracks for us Seraph. Managers aim to do what is best for the Manager. Soulless vampires.
-
Hahaha. What about what the WORLD ANTI DOPING AGENCY said?????????? I dont read the herald sun, at all, ever. And you feel sorry for them? Wow, words fail me. They deserve ZERO sympathy. They only deserve to be raped of their players.
-
You must be an essenscum supporter. The human mind doesnt work as a collective like that. If they claim they were duped into taking illegal drugs that the club refuses to disclose, but they refuse to break from that club, then they knew. I don't consider it a generalisation at all.
-
That would only show that they were all complicit.
-
They need to be forced to settle for nothing. The grievance process is there for a reason, and if these circumstances are not enough to trigger it, then the rule should be scrapped as the joke it is.
-
Offer the cheating scum NOTHING. F*&k them, and stuff their idiot supporters. Take him for free.
-
Who are the Dees chasing for 2017 and at what cost?
faultydet replied to junk's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's their premiership top-up right there. -
We are behind the 8 ball before we start, because the Saints will turn up full of confidence that they can beat us. This is a game like last week. If we want to attract players, and advance our claims for finals next year, this is a must win. We could gain all sorts of confidence from this week, and who knows how that could affect our chances in following weeks. Oliver in for sure.

narrative pffffftt Some wanchor in frilly clothes pretending to the world that he is wonderful, until that "oh [censored]" moment, when the bull gets a chance to stick its horns into his guts. Christians to the lions, or gladiator death matches have history too. Bullfighting should be consigned to history with them. An utterly pointless "sport" Lets send Hurley and Hibberd to Africa during every off season, where they could stalk and shoot an endangered species like Lion, at great distances. That would prove their manhood, and build self esteem.
-
Smacks of the Tigers trying to recruit anyone of note, even if it doesn't actually fit into any forward planning at all. Panic recruiting. Look at our shiny new recruit, aren't we the best!! Dumb Brisbane, just dumb
-
That's the issue though Wise. Why not throw that cash at a bloke who will play good footy, and will be around longer? McDonald would be a great idea for them. Even, dare I say it Watts. Josh Jenkins? Nah, I really don't get what they are trying to do, if that cash is even close to being correct.
-
Like Jamar? You dont pay that sort of cash unless the bloke is a star. How desperate is Brisbane? My god.
-
We are so far from deserving a place in the 8 atm. Beaten nobody of note, except the rd 1 surprise. Its nice to keep the hopes up, but kinda pointless until we can beat real top 8 quality teams.
