Lynden's greatest strength as a defender has been his one on one contesting, not so much intercepting. It seems Salem's been handed the kick out duties which lessens his role also. Anyway, I still think this is a beat up here on DL, am confident he'll be back in the side in the next week or 2, O Mac still looks a bit too green to me & Dunn has him covered with his disposal and gorilla minding, he did really well against Hawkins last year & better on Cloke than T Mac was (once the change was finally made) despite having a lesser year than 2014.

Exactly. I'm sure Dunn will play eventually, Grimes will likely get a game at some point too, but right now for whatever reason they are giving O Mac first crack. I think he's still a little off the pace myself but if that's the case Dunn will be back round 2.

Pies & gws still have vulnerabilities for mine but both on the up, north, tigers, port & geelong are all overrated going into this season imo. We just need to focus on ourselves; get that right the rest takes care of itself, let the others fall where they may!!

^^ I stopped reading at Brayshaw unconvinced! Lol Port & Cats prospects overrated by some IMO, I don't think either are really that good & won't make finals. IMO. I think we can sneak into the 8 but likely be around 9th/10th this season with a fairly young core and a couple of finals in 2017. A run like the doggies last or better yet an '87 & better again baby bombers year would be an absolute dream come true though! A lot needs to go right for us though.

Promise? Good riddance. Your accusing Garland of staging is pathetic. He has always worn his heart on his sleeve, I wish more players on our list did the same over the past decade. Someone noted Tom's age, and as frustrated as I am with him at the moment it's a reasonable point, he has time to turn it around. I hope he does sooner rather than later though, he plays a vital role in our structure & I really think sneaking into the finals is doable this year if things go well.
