I thought Petracca was ludicrous odds at 7 bucks considering we win 7 of 8 on the way home with no Oliver . Giddy up. 

The problem is there isn’t a Tom Lynch hanging round to grab like Richmond did in 2019.

Petty and JVR with an extra pre season is in my mind at least equal to TMAC and BBB. It’s not Buddy and Roughy but it’s enough. 
 

I think our problem is we haven’t replaced Jackson as Grundy wasn’t the answer. 

The bizarre choice of sub then non selection was not our coaching groups finest moment. What would you have done differently?

How about ditch the imperfect football and arm wrestles and train to execute like professional football players?

The Collingwood chant while Gus was on The ground. Us having to remove photos of Gus back at training because of abuse from Collingwood supporters. This needs to drive us. This season isn’t dead yet , and I don’t think you can find any better motivation than we have with this to meet them again in 3 weeks.

Makes the remorseful bottle of wine seem disingenuous when he blatantly lies about touching the ball. 

And it’s a bit rich for Collingwood supporters to say get over it when they still boo Langdon for saying all duck no dinner. 

I’d accept this was a footy act if he had affected the kick. He was late, which is why it was given a downfield free kick. Take the “smother” out of the equation and this a bump. 

Coz stamping on Gawns foot was just a footy act.

Maynard bunches up after the smoother. He just needed to put his hands out and push into a Brayshaw and both would have been fine. You can see he has the time, because Mitchell runs by in the same footage at speed and puts his hands up as the contact happens.

Wow that is damning. Why is maynard “protecting himself” here? The only person that was ever going to get hurt here was Gus. 

The only “footy act” in this piece of play was Gus kicking the ball. 

Im sorry but we would have still lost with another 30 inside 50s. We just kicked it in and expected Fritsch to play like Carey. It was the the GWS game all over again.

Also to Maynard, how many “football accidents” can one person have. Absolute [censored].

The narrative the whole year has been playing our best football right now. Let’s hope they got it right. 

We’ve experimented with having both key position players and smaller running players as sub this year. What’s the thoughts for the strategy this game? Do we roll again with Laurie or do we something out of the box like T-Mac or Grundy as sub?

This suggests that there will be no other key position players available to trade for this off season.

We lost what we believe was a generational talent in Jackson so I’m all in on replacing him with another with our arsenal of picks.
