Ted used to work where I do. Absolute man mountain. Hope he gets the support he needs.

This press release is the equivalent of asking for an extension for your homework. Disappointing that we wasted 5 years on the MCG precinct.

Players would love having their own change rooms for the Caulfield Cup.

Can you just skip the month September from the review? Was just starting to move on with my life again. :)

I saw a training clip of him nailing a boundary line goal off one step from nearly 50 out. He’s gonna be a freak. Hopefully we can make him feel homesick in 3 years.

Watch out, premiership forward Billy Frampton is ready to step up!
Come on. He kept Harris Andrew’s goalless.

I can’t believe we are not entertaining a future pick swap with WC. Best case scenario pick 1, in an absolute disaster we break even.

2018 AFL Draft
1 Zak Butters
2 Sam Walsh
3 Connor Rozee
4 Max King
5 Ben King
6 Isaac Quaynor
7 Izak Rankine
8 Nick Blakey
9 Bobby Hill
10 Bailey Smith
We have such a similar draft hand this year as Port did that Night. Let’s hope we can pull off something similar.

Interesting he sees himself in a similar space to LJ - tall that is mobile and athletic both with basketball backgrounds.
Hopefully he is a late developer, and we can get a good return for the modest investment.
I’ve got hopes he can be the poor man’s version. Our premiership format is 2 talls and a resting ruck in the forward line.

If true we are out contention for Reid.
Take 2 good players and be done with it.
I’ve actually finally watched some player highlights and am comfortable that we will be getting a very good footy player in that range.

Haha the old whipping boy eh. I remember those days. We need more Nibbla's!
It’s amazing hey? A guy who’s not blessed with all the tools of our rolls Royce midfield is our most likely kick into 50.

If we are making a play for the number 1 pick & Reid there are going to be alot of dissapointed people who want us to change our game plan. This would signify we are doubling down on it.
The bloke is a human battering ram that gets it forward at all costs. I haven't seen any evidence he kicks like Nick Daicos.
No one kicks like him.

Ahhh the suspense. Where is this pick going?

I’m assuming we will have to rely on fan filmed footage to watch the May speech?

Time this thread got a bit of a revive.
West Coast no certainties to take him. The big competition is North Melbourne with pick 2 and all their compensation picks.
They just have to split the number one. Their List is at ground zero. They need heaps of picks. Not just one.z

I thought Petracca was ludicrous odds at 7 bucks considering we win 7 of 8 on the way home with no Oliver . Giddy up.

The problem is there isn’t a Tom Lynch hanging round to grab like Richmond did in 2019.
Petty and JVR with an extra pre season is in my mind at least equal to TMAC and BBB. It’s not Buddy and Roughy but it’s enough.
I think our problem is we haven’t replaced Jackson as Grundy wasn’t the answer.

The bizarre choice of sub then non selection was not our coaching groups finest moment. What would you have done differently?

How about ditch the imperfect football and arm wrestles and train to execute like professional football players?

2023 Player Reviews: #21 Matt Jefferson
in Melbourne Demons

I don’t think many first year players are flying at the end of their first season.
Let’s hope he has a huge pre season and sees the year out better in 24. You’d hope he’d be in selection talks by 2nd half of season.
