  1. I say sack the boot studder, too many of our guys falling over during game day.. Oh, yeah Dawes said in one of his interviews that the players do it themselves...sack the players
  2. Garland was stuffed around last year by being thrown into the forward line, in which he did well considering it was a position he hadn't played for years. Could have been as good last year if he was left in the backline.
  3. It is almost too depressing going to watch s%#t skills on game day, let alone them training to be s#%t! Oh no, their lack of interest and enthusiasm is rubbing off on me....
  4. If the players wanted out - you could not blame them. However, f#^k I will be [censored] (I have no doubt it will happen) if and when the likes of Sylvia, watts and even frawley go somewhere else and tear it up. As supporters it is so frustrating watching them as they have so much potential and for whatever reason they cannot pull it together for us. I feel as a club we've been patient enough, and for them to kill it playing for someone else would be icing on the bi carb ridden, bitter, bitter cake we call a footy club.
  5. I know that this is a sort of blend of a number of topics, so apologies to anyone offended. I thought about this last night, and I know this is fanciful - If a new coach came in and sat Grimes and Trengrove down and said "listen fellas, become vice captains, but I want you two to not have the added stress but work on improving yourselves on the field instead". Then gave the Captainancy to Jones. 1. Would Grimes and Trengrove play better and fulfill their potential faster. And, 2. Do you think it would affect Jonesy's current game/attitude?
  6. I'd be moving Clark up the list. Other than that, I like!
  7. What can we take from Casey and their form.... THEIR COACH!!!
  8. How sad, I just turned over the MFC calendar for the change of the month and Clarky is pictured for May. It means I have to sit at my desk depressed by being at work, looking at Clarky for a month with me being further depressed he's injured.
  9. My light at the end of this long tunnel, would have to be Gawn, Evans, Terlich and M.Jones - they have played little to no games over the last two years and are already having an impact, imagine how confident they'll be once they've clocked up 50+.
  10. Disappointing for Jones. I agree Selwood is a classy and tough player, but I think that it would be unfair to play down how good Jones is so easily. If he were in a top team like Geelong there would not be as much focus on tagging him as what he currently gets.
  11. If this is the case, I would hope the Football Director and the board are aware of the risks of the uncontracted players walking - to not know would be dire.
  12. Job 2 - implant a set of balls to the 90% of our team that have got none!!!
  13. Quick give him some peptides.... Too soon???
  14. Anyone think we actually have a shot of beating GC in two weeks given the way we've been playing - I just can't see us getting up. This to me will be the nail in Neeldy's coffin...
  15. He has got some ability and speed. However the guy is scared. I watched him chicken out of half a dozen contests during the PA and Ess matches. Hopefully for his and our sake he has got confidence back and toughened up back at Casey.
  16. I'm gritting my teeth this year as I am getting so sick of "we matched them for two quarters and our intensity was good, but they ran away with it on the other quarters". I mean we have been hearing this now for 5 years, FFS... I have had faith in Neeldy, but that has changed and surely there comes a time when as a club they have to bite the bullet. We have two All Australians and ample top draft picks on our list - I believe there is enough skill. As Ox said last night, the players are not playing for the coach. I honestly believe now that a new coach is what this club needs and craves for, to give the club some direction back up the ladder.
  17. Saw the big fella on Saturday morning at a local Prahran coffee shop, he was wearing a moon boot. I said to my wife, that this doesn't look good. I was hoping that it was precautionary....I was obviously wrong. I feel sorry for him after being out for 12wks last year, he must be [censored].
  18. Given Gawn's and Pedo's performance on the weekend. If Dawes is a starter, do you think that Jamar will be dropped? If not, it would mean we would be fielding a very tall and possibly slow side - a Jamar, Gawn, Dawes, Clark and Pedo.
  19. We're currently equal ninth on points. Bring on September!!!! Too early???
  20. Sorry for the negativity in advance as I don't think i'm a half glass empty person. But given how many disappointments this team has dished up recently, I'm preparing myself for the worst as I couldn't handle my optimism taking another battering....
  21. Do you remember a few years ago when Richmond were coming off the ground after copping a flogging. Their supporters were hanging over the race spitting on them. Look at them now. There is hope. Just got to get back to playing aggressive footy like the first half last week, but for four qtrs. Get back respect from us, themselves and the football community. I have to say, I'm sick of being the butt of the AFL jokes - From now on every match I'm going to see I am gonna turn ferral and show that Melb supporters can give as good as they get. Anyone try's to mock Melb in front of me, I'm gonna turn ferral and stick it back up em.
  22. Wwwwwwww Iiiiiiiiiiii Nnnnnnnnn - what's that?????
  23. Garry Lyon trained with the Taliban specialising in explosives... Explains why he drops into the club and causes havoc, then wanders off like nothing happened.
  24. Don mclardy sleeping with AD wife....
  25. Interestingly they've named all 3 talks - jamar, spencer and gawn.... My guess is Jamar is going to be a late withdrawal (dropped).
