  1. Help Peter Jackson. This is the stuff we need him working on, and hopefully he is. I know he has a lot to work on and he even said it himself when he mentioned about the inexperiance at this club, IMO We can't afford to have frawley, Sylvia, Watts and possibly Davey walk out the door. If Neeld has to go to help retain these people, then make the call and resign these boys back up. I couldn't take another year of Neeldy complaining that now he's got 16 players with under 50 games experience. Please Save this club from Neeld and itself.
  2. Obviously in dream land by saying this. But imagine a 3 way swap: 1 - frawley to GC. 2 - Ablett to Cats 3 - Harry Taylor to us
  3. Yeah, I heard that. He said that Roos has ruled himself out, and Bomber quit because he was burnt out doing the no 1 job. He said that in his opinion no reputable coach thinking of getting back into coaching would want to coach Melbourne and they'd not only be coaching the team, but the whole club.
  4. Just mentioned on SEN that Col Sylvia has been linked to Pies. IMO could mean a trade with Daisy, but I reckon we'd be wanting a draft pick also.
  5. Haha, what the? If that's the case my correction will be: Bury them Dees, everyone was quick to stick the knife in and dance on our grave! Better Jazza?
  6. I say stick it up the doggies! We haven't beaten doggies since 2007. In fact, a disgusting home truth - We haven't beaten another Victorian team other than Ess and Rich since 2007... Show no mercy Dees, no one showed any to us over the last 6 years.
  7. It's funny you say that, I've been getting stuck in to a couple Richmond supporters at work today saying they're gonna get done - you can imagine the offices response though. I'm sticking to my guns, you're going down tiges...
  8. Sorry Tapscott, forgot ya buddy - go get em
  9. Magner, Viney, Jetta and Jones - it's Tiger smashing time....
  10. Possibly, but at least he's a player that'll get in and have a go - more than what most of our regular players show each week.
  11. Yeah, baby! Make us proud - show the others how it's done.
  12. Just a thought due to the fact we have a number players coming out of contract. And apologies if this has been covered on the many doom and gloom threads. Given the situation that everyone thinks Neeld is at the end of his tenure and PJ being around for only 6mths. Who's responsibility is it to look at who at what we're going to do with our list in the near future? Has anyone heard whether they're in discussions with these players, or we're going to go down the pin the tail on our donkey again....
  13. Snows good, already 15cm. Gets me away from this nightmare we call a club and every footy season I take all of my footy frustrations out on the slopes.
  14. Thanks for posting all these, I know i certainly needed it. Watching it I felt like Dale kerringan (younger brother) off the Castle - when he was on the couch with his family so happy, but thinking what has been lost.... C'mon dees for F#%k sake, we all deserve better!!!!
  15. I agree with what you are saying about respect of the players as individuals. Yes there has been a cultural issue in this club. Yes we have a very inexperianced list and coaching team. However, that is not an excuse for the players lack of effort, intensity and passion to win. The other 17 or so players have looked so disinterested almost every week bar the one qtr against GWS, where we actually played as a team. The only ones that shown that they actually want to be there are the 5 - 6 players who are racking up the 20+ touches each match. IMO this team is only going to improve when the other 17 passengers pull their finger out and be accountable for their actions.
  16. Maybe we should rotate the other 17 players to explain in front of the media and general public why they're not having a dip, might just give them the rocket required....
  17. I'm talking about PJ - when I say it's easy to walk in and pick faults, but is he going to have enough time and will he stick around to see his changes through, or will he throw the grenade and bail when and if it gets hard.
  18. Haha, high performance manager.... Oh wait you're being serious - we actually have one? Sack him too
  19. Obviously it's easy to walk into a door and point out faults, and it's obviously harder to put your money where your mouth is and fix it. Having said that and with everything I've heard to date from PJ - it would have been scary to see what further mess this club would have been in 2yrs from now under Schwab.
  20. I agree with what you are saying. But think that if we replace the whole board, FD (which I think there'll be certain changes) then it could be counter productive. Whereas introducing experience into the board and other areas as required would keep us moving forward being better equipped.
  21. For what it is worth, I believe that every board member has the best interest of the club at heart and it is purely an experience issue. Jackson even said in one of his interviews that there are too many inexperienced people in the club. Throw in as many fiascos as what we've had, there is no wonder we're where we are. Classic example of the boards inadequacy is to give an inexperianced FD (bar Craig) free run, just asks for trouble. I think we need to keep the board but introduce more experience in every area of our club, and I have no doubt that this is what PJ will be trying to bring in.
  22. I fear what we are feeling now is nothing, I don't know about anyone else but I am petrified at the thought of playing Geelong at skilled and even the hawks at the moment - the way we're playing and the players current mindset the 186 record is gonna be smashed. Something has to be done....
  23. I'm trying to remember if Fitzroy or Stkilda played this bad.
  24. I'm trying to think of something to write to express my gut wrenching disappointment, however I cannot find the words....
  25. I agree. I just don't understand how we have got ourselves into this situation. I'd love to be a fly on the wall over the next 6mths as I reckon Schwab has a lot to answer for.
