Been "on a journey" Nasher.

Athletically, Joel Smith could be a good match-up. Appreciating that for a first gamer that would be the deepest of deep ends to be chucked into.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
TRIGON replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
The fat lady gets another encore? -
Great to hear that more young talent is being locked away. As for the Journo, did he count on his fingers but have his hands crossed?

The way the playing list is adapting physically and philosophically to a two-way running fast play-on style makes round 1 against the Saints both a salivating prospect and intriguing litmus test. Looking forward to it.

I think there is a market for tourists and we may be missing a trick by not tapping into impulse purchases. Personally I still treasure my New York Yankee pitchers mitt and copy of the match magazine from Maple Leafs V New York Rangers (Gretzky played...KOTD being in Toronto for that one!).

Yeah, nah. Visual, auditory and memory skills not up to it.

Does God really take things so literally??? If so then have the AFL schedule the Saints V North on Good Friday...conundrum for God to vex upon!

SEN 2017 AFL PREVIEW: MELBOURNE’S BEST 22
TRIGON replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Reads the play well which gets him into positions to support his teammates, disposal is excellent. Executes with a minimum of fuss. -
Didn't work out for H & the MFC, however from first-hand dealings with Josh Mahoney on concussion related issues, the player's long term welfare will take paramount importance.

Over the past couple of years the AFL have appeared to have no plan B to deal with what were quite obvious (yet blindsiding to them) outcomes. Screams of incompetence. They're lucky to have a product (the game) that's so loved that their incompetence can be absorbed. God knows how they'd cope in an industry where there's any real competition.

Vandenberg plays well as a bullocking midfielder, however (and fortunately) it's tough competition now for spots there. When resting forward he is a big target and can be that 3rd tall forward as and when necessary due to rotations. So a handy player; hopefully his preseason is without incident and we get to see if he can be even more than that.

Great timing for Cotchin. Had it been September he'd be much harder to locate for the handover. -
Really pleased that he's progressed that far since last year's mishap.

.Now come on, it's not Poll Position it's Pole Position, like Pole Dancing - not something to get confused about: Now...back to the training. Whose flattened the house today?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
TRIGON replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hmmm, fair chance he'd have to have passed a thorough medical Your mate's comment is right up there with a Hawk supporter telling me last week that he's not that unhappy to see Lewis go...what a load of bollocks! -
Agreed, maybe we should take this over to the bananas thread?
-
^ Love the colour this man brings to the boards. Welcome back Biff.

Have we had a WELCOME BACK thread before?
