Frankly, after giving up our second round pick last year for Melksham, I am really disinclined to repeat the exercise this year, particularly when we don't have a first round pick. I would love Hinberd to threaten to walk for breach of contract and offer them the option of fighting it or taking our fourth round pick.

The advantage that you overlooked is the fact that making Finals this year might ensure we become a destination club during the Trade period, maybe swaying the Prestias of the world choosing us over Richmond, St. Kilda etc.

Let's not use our second round pick this time like we did with Melksham! The Bombers owe us!

If we win by ten plus goals tomorrow, the bringing in the Weed, ANB and Mitchie will seem inspired!

Much as I like Pedo's impact on the contest (& he has done nothing wrong to warrant his omission), it would be a great shame if we were denied seeing Hoges and the Weed lining up together this Sunday!

Or why don't they play them both on the same day? To have the Scorpions Development League game vs the Zebas on Saturday then the VFL Scorps vs the Cats on Sunday is logistically insane (unless KC had typed a misprint)!

Be interesting what the pressure act stat is for JKH our BOG for Casey last weekend.

So where did this statement come from?

If we win our next six matches, we are certainties for the Flag!

If you followed Casey (who had a 100+ point win over Werribee last weekend), you will find that the first three on the list are hardly struggling and Trengrove was BOG in our record win. We just seem to have a bit of depth at present and great youth development.

Trengrove getting BOG and JKH slotting 3 goals and also amongst the best augurs well for their chances of a) promotion and b) retention on the list.

It was probably dropped by a drug trafficer so if you kept it, it would be "proceeds of crime "!
