New Major Sponsor: Automotive Holdings Group (AHG)
CBDees replied to Demon3's topic in Melbourne Demons
Be patient! It takes a while for them to load! -
Collingwood, Swans, Kangas, Cats, Blues and St Kilda are the only teams not forced to introduce another colour (white*) to their guernsey for their away jumper. They only have to 'shuffle deck chairs' in relation to their design (& in Collingwood's case it is merely tokenism)! Let's see how it would turn out if each AFL Club had to introduce another colour in their away version? Then Collingwood wouldn't look so smug! * In fact Collingwood have no colours on their Guernsey as white and black are both "tones"!
-
Why do we have to wear white?? If we only had one guernsey (plus red socks) who on earth do we clash with? ?In fact the proposed 'away' strip is worse for clashing (e.g. St Kilda) and what is/was wrong with black and white shorts designating who is the away or home team? Collingwood are trying to have us believe that by reversing their stripes they have a bona fide 'away' jumper. What crock! They should have a completely different appearance jumper like everybody else and see how their sponsor respond?

Does that mean he will now pick The Dees in the celebrity footy tipping? ?

Nice article! I am so pleased to get links like this on Demonland when on a remote tropical island ? (but with wifi)! Thanks for posting!

New balance apparel sponsorship renewed?
CBDees replied to Delusional demon 82's topic in Melbourne Demons
Then that is a good sign! ? It shows that they can 'pick winners'! ? -
23516 at 11/11/16 (500 in the last calendar week)! ?

???And especially appreciated from a tropical island? ? ??

All we now have to do is harness all this passion to create the greatest past players group the World has seen.? Maybe a project for our Marketing Department?
-
Thanks ? for all your reports guys. ? AFL news is a bit thin on Lembeh Island and I have been hanging for these training reports! ?????
-
Ron, a good post indeed. The era of players from our last success (e.g. John Lord, Noel McMahon, etc) all remain passionate Demon supporters and are well respected. Maybe these past players who are involved with the 'past players association', could be part of an initiative to develop one of the strongest past player groups in the AFL?
-
????????????????????????? Now I am not even in Melbourne (?Lembeh Island?) and it isn't even dawn yet but I am hoping that I can read some comprehensive reports on the boys' progress from Saty and others during the course of the day. Just making it easy for everybody by starting the post! ? ?????????????????????????

None if we rookie him. We only have two live picks (47&69) in the main draft after promoting Wagner but we have rookie pics.

I am hoping that I may come back leaner, drinking Bintangs instead of wine! ? -

Bintangs ? have that effect on you! ?? -
Oliver and Weideman are in a different category to Kent as both played in the VFL Grand Final so start back later.

The MCC members who don't come on board are unlikely to be swayed by access to the Club Rooms or a presentation by the coach. You either want to support your team or you are stingy. I am happy to pay the money for a scarf each year.

I am on Lembreh (Island). It is a bit away from the normal tourist (& footy trip) destinations! ???

Great pics (and the captains/text are helpful)!
-
Bintang in hand, I empathise with you! ????

I liked the best players for our reserves team, especially the recruit Graham Kerr. As I remember he carved a great career for himself as a cook after playing footy!
-
Th three that interest me after a pre-season are Garlett, Trenners and JKH, the latter two because Trenners needs to start a pre-season, fully recovered and JKH had a bad run though the season proper. I don't think that we have seen the best from these three as we haven't from either Weideman or Smith, both who should emerge from the pre-season as much more value.

There is an edit function on Demonland you know (ideal for these situations)!
