Melbourne midfield ranked worst in AFL by Champion Data

Look on the bright side. We are paying great odds!? -
28248 (& counting)!

I have started Airbnb (100 metres from the "G")! I give all my overseas guests a Melbourne scarf. They love it (and it cleans out the drawers)!
-
28,002 (and counting)! ?

What does 'pand' mean?

Nice summary though I see that the AFL website has rated us "B" in the draft (with Hawthorn the only team rated below us)! I suspect there are going to be a few teams surprised by our recruitment outcomes this year (though it is nice to go 'under the radar')!
-
I don't think "H" has bought in to being a cog in a Melbourne Premiership team! I would classify him as 'out of shape' mentally!
-
I disagree (apart from the sentence in bold)! I expect us to win our five games on the trot early in the season, causing membership to surge to 50,000. The momentum will carry us through to the Preliminary (then it is up to everybody)!

I thought Hamish Brayshaw was on the list? Surprised that he wasn't picked up? -
2016 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
CBDees replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
Maybe we have done another "Vanders" drafting Hannan from Footscray's Premiership Team and we snatched Johnstone from under the nose of the Bulldogs where he has their nominated Category B rookie? Nothing wrong with keeping an eye on the opposition, especially the opposition garnered two Premierships this year, as the underdog. Now the rookie draft is even more interesting tomorrow. -
The first photo of Oliver looks like he has had his head photo-shopped onto an oversize body??

What is the rationale behind opting for only two picks on Monday, instead of three (and/or a third Category B rookie)? Surely if HL pulls the plug it would be handy to have extra insurance, plus l am sure that Plapp would also appreciate more depth at Casey.

The Dorks have colours of wees and poos! No wonder they want to add "white"!

I am impressed that you are privy to next year's October membership numbers already!
-
You can see some of them on the Club website (and where they finished in relation to other players)!

Maybe he should retire prior to the draft if that is the case! As it is, he is taking the place of either a potential recruit or a loyal servant such as Grimes who we have delisted (but who still played a valuable role at Casey)!
-
Also hard to build our membership numbers up or bring in a new wave of primary school kids when we have multiple jumpers. When I went to school ( in our halcyon years), most kids wore one of two jumpers, "black and white" or "red and blue"! Bit hard to hand your old jumpers on to the next generation when they don't recognise them!
-
With the greatest respect Saty, l disagree! To me it is an essential component of rebuilding a strong culture that we have one (1) easily identifiable jumper! Peter Jackson and Paul Roos have started the culture-rebuilding process but a strong identity is the next step. Not only should people see images of Jones, Watts, Viney, Gawn, Hogan, (Daisy) Pearce et al and immediately think Melbourne FC but they should not have to contend with a constant parade of (alternate) jumpers for away games, etc. Collingwood have managed the jumper side but none of their players are as readily identifiable as the Melbourne players I just mentioned so we are making some headway. The ultimate success will be when people see an image of the MCG and immediately think Melbourne Football Club! Go Dees!

Frankly I thought it was Jason Ackermanis! ?
