Ladder: Bulldogs Adelaide Carlton Melbourne Fremantle Collingwood GWS Brisbane
-
Let's hope that the Casey Demons and all their local supporters turn up enmasse, along with Demonlanders and help pack the ground to capacity! Unfortunately I will be watching it on Foxtel from a pub in Geelong. Go Dees! ?

31,141 indicates that we are tracking at 50/day at present, so slowing again.

The MFC PLAYER BIOs (particularly Melksham & Hibberd)
CBDees replied to ignition.'s topic in Melbourne Demons
I wouldn't worry. When I open my new MFC app it has got Melksham but no Hibberd, however I can read all about Lyndon Dunn, Terlich and Chris Dawes. -
The season's games start in three days time when the lassies take on the Brisbane sheilas. They better get their running shoes on!
-
I've got the old App. which has replaced itself with this new one. It appears different superficially however when I look up the player lists it still has Dunn, Matt Jones, Terlich and Lubumba. Nowhere near good enough!

That shows we had an increase of 600 in the last fortnight vs. an increase of 1000 over the same period last year. Although we are a few thousand ahead, the initial momentum has faded dramatically with growth now 40% slower than last year.

Looks like a few of the boys are focussed on their tans! ?

Along with Cam Bruce, Adem Yze and Clarko! Plenty of opportunities to reminisce about old times at the Dees!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TIM SMITH
CBDees replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Let's hope that he fulfills his dreams and makes it for Round 1 (though he would have to displace Weids and Pedo in the process)! -
The "Women's Team" should go well in 2017 with Watts, Hogan, Tom Mac and Wagner all playing for it! ?
-
That's why I didn't mention Bugg, Garlett or Kennedy.
-
Not troubled at all by the two MacDonald's plus Frost being our KPDs.
-
Maybe Lewis, Hibberd and Melksham could join the imports ahead of Lumumba?
-
Nice to see that the article spells the merit of adding Lewis to our mid equation. Good timing (or astute foresight) injecting him into our midfield mix.

I was in a cafe in East Melbourne this morning at 8.30am and there was a player (?) collecting a takeaway coffee so maybe there is after all (unless he was in fancy dress)!

Congratulations on your first post!?I was at training yesterday and Gawn was looking good. Although I am not exactly a regular at training, the session certainly didn't lack intensity and I would say that we will see an improvement across the board. Spencer was also looking okay enough to ensure Gawn knows he has to lift again in 2017 along with his teammates.
-
I'm warming to Weideman but Pedersen is also looking good at training should the FD want to ease him in.

Trenners was holding his own yesterday and I expect no change in a warm climate!
-
Weideman is coming along nicely and when he clunked a mark today (against T.Mac) the whole playing list seemed to converge on him in congratulations. By contrast, nobody seemed interested when Watts continually took marks and then roosted them through the sticks (such as we are becoming to take that for granted)! Other impressions today were that Hogan looked in a good place, Hunt hasn't got any slower and Keilty is a big unit.

Only a dozen (spectators) there but a solid session and no apparent injuries. Somebody was taking photos with a semi-serious camera so expect them to post this afternoon.

Not sure that we need Jetta necessarily in the 'leadership group'; certainly we need him as a player. I'd be happy to leave if at six!

I spoke to a bloke last night who watched the training session yesterday and he was very positive. When I asked him did he post on Demonland he stated that he wasn't a member (though he attends training every Friday)! It is frustrating to have 86 posts on a training thread and not a single one about yesterday's session.
