Not sure what the rationale is of having Hibberd, Watts and Frost out, particularly as I am not aware of any injury concerns with the latter two and all three would have to be best 22?
-
And Full-backs in the goal square (bring back Danny Hughes)! No more unworthy balls bouncing through unattended goal squares.
-
Great to see that their are no Melbourne midfielders or forwards judged worthy of a guernsey! Nice to start the year under everyone's radar!
-
Last time I went was when Yze and Grygic both debuted and we won (only to find that they didn't have a copy of the Melbourne Club Song to broadcast)!

I AM! Personally, I want us to pick our best available team next Saturday and give the Doggies an absolute hiding! After that Goody can experiment to his heart's content! PS: I am sure that our membership will soar if both our teams beat the Doggies!
-
Since the women started winning, we have accelerated from 50/day to 100/day and are now 31,799. This is 5.5K up on membership numbers at the same time in 2015 and 3K on last year! If both our teams beat the Doggies next weekend, maybe we will ramp it up even further! Go Dees! ?

We are now 31,699. This is nearly 5.5K up on membership numbers at the same time in 2015 and 3K on last year! Let's keep it up! ?

Interesting to see that Harriet Cordner only had a single disposal. She probably received the most press after Daisy before the match.

In "a game of firsts", focussing on last nights game: 1) the most impressive "come from behind win" in AFLW history; 2) the first four goal quarter in AFLW; and 3) the first time this Millennium that the Dees have beaten Collingwood five games in a row (with more to come)!

Why pass it on to Goody? Our 2017 Men's team is never going to be that far behind, (particularly against Collingwood) and I suspect umpire #5 last night won't get a run in the "Little League"!

Looks like he altered his profile at halftime to delete: 'Member of Collingwood Football Club '

Great game girls especially Cat Phillips for two inspired goals! ?Also great to see Jolly score the last goal of the match (as the last pick in the national draft)! Loved Emma Humphries run and neither Paxman or O'Dea disappointed!

I thought that this would be easy, (just alter b-r-f-e's post) however, not keen about leaving out Kent and Harmes and putting JKH, Vanders and Melksham as emergencies. Also interested to see how our new guys go in the practice match next week. I predict that this line-up will differ widely from my views in a month's time. B: Jetta Frost Hibberd HB: Hunt T-Mac Vince C: Lewis Tyson Brayshaw HF: Petracca Hogan Weideman F: Garlett Pederson Watts Ru: Gawn Jones Viney Int: Oliver Salem Stretch O'Mac Emerg from: JKH Vanders Melksham

At least this confirms that there is a Demon posessing (father) Gill!

Or displace Gawn in the ruck!

Disappointing result. More scoring shots for Melbourne (first quarter) but Brisbane prevailed. I thought that Brisbane kept improving throughout the match and deserved the points although we were hardly disgraced (5/12 on the ladder?). Impressed with the crowd.

If they beat us I will gladly swap them for Collingwood.
