If Collingwood can beat the Swans in Sydney, we are more than capable of giving the Cats a run at Docklands (possibly their least favourite home ground)!

-
38,299 is only four more members in the two days since Tuesday's total (38,295)! Smallest daily rise all year and I hope not a bad omen!
-
38,554 and still climbing! 3000 more than 2016 & 6000 more than 2015 at the first week in April!
-
At the risk of reigniting the "Wines versus Toumpas" debate, so nice to see Clarry up the pointy end! ?

Watts got a deliberate tap to the face in Round 1 (from the side), whilst remonstrating with another Saints player on the boundary line. No MRP in that instance so it should be the same in Hogan's case thisweek if the AFL is to show any consistency at all.

224 posts and I am surprised that no Demonlanders have referred to the ultimate irony inherent in this win over Carlton, namely the fact that we secured our undisputed match winner in Garlett as a result of his being jettisoned from the Blues. If Garlett had of still been on their list instead of ours, the result would have been massively (6 goals) different, the freakish three goals he snapped for us (plus his goal assists) and the three that he didn't kick for Carlton! In Jason Taylor we trust!

Maybe we should look at stats of Brayshaw versus Trengove?

Checking your Avatar, do you really think that you are qualified to comment on hair cuts??

With Round 2 finishing up today, is it too early to revisit some of the heroic posts of two and three months ago? The AFL tampers with the opening round Match-ups ( to try and create new record attendances) but nevertheless there are some very unexpected trends developing to date!

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised

Flanagan didn't seem to notice it in his article yesterday which seemed to praise nearly every other star on our list! -
Harmes and Tyson made the final cut for the Sunday game so expect Kent to line up for Casey.
-
Unless they get pipped by St Kilda or the Hawks.

Hint is to join/rejoin in 2016 not in the last few days. My package was received ages ago and my brother and I (both longtime members) are taking our father (who only let his membership lapse this year) to the ground Sunday to celebrate his 92nd birthday by watching a Dees victory over Carlton!
-
Reluctantly I have to correct you by saying "we have a lot of barrackers out there" and they came out in spades in our last game of 2016 (when we could have made the finals)! Many of these were MCC members who were too tight to pay the extra for their MFC 'add-on'!

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?

Updated (someone had to)! -
6. Oliver 5. Jones 4. Gawn 3. Hogan 2. Petracca 1. T. Mac Apologies to Hannan, Neil-Bullen, Garlett, Brayshaw, Hunt, Salem, Watts, Vince, Jetta and Lewis (who turned it over a few times, otherwise I would have had him top six).
-
Just about to head to the Mountain View to watch it (as I hate Etihad)! Hoping for a decisive win during a weekend where I have already had the pleasure of losses to Carlton and Collingwood!
-
KC did we beat both Willi and Port?
-
Don't worry Drunkn! We have got both games covered!

I am quietly confident that between Hannan and Hunt, the Saints supporters ? will traipse out of Docklands today scratching their heads! http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2016-11-26/pick-46-mitch-hannan-highlights -
I think that if you watch Hannan's highlights you will find that he combines the leap of Howe with the speed of Hunt. He also knows how to find the goals! Go Dees! http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2016-11-26/pick-46-mitch-hannan-highlights

I have just rewatched his highlights (insomnia)! If he can bring similar style tomorrow then it will be an exciting game and very watchable! To me, he appears a fusion of Hunt and Howe in the way he backs himself and he will quickly become a fan favourite and a headache for opposition coaches identifying someone to line up on him. A good selection IMHO and I am looking forward to watching him and Hunt tear the Saints up! Go Dees! http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2016-11-26/pick-46-mitch-hannan-highlights
