  1. I didn't mind the look of this chap either from watching his highlights. He is much more confident bombing it towards goal from outside-50 than Miller (for example) ever was! I think that he would be worth investing in considering last year found us out with talls. Darcy Hourigan: 190cm, 92kg Key Forward who uses his body strength to his advantage when in one on one contests. Great contested mark due to his strong hands, whilst a good kick for goal. Look at his clip>> http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-20/darcy-hourigan
  2. Ask Roosy, he has already hinted that he is after a free meal!
  3. where is the "like this" button that used to be there? Is it coming back?
  4. No Mitch Clark? That's an interesting call?
  5. I think everybody has lost their like button for some reason. i too liked the scenario.
  6. Let us hope that Hourigan & Co are still there at the Rookie Draft and we don't get gazumped again by the PRD as last year. Does anybody know if we are likely to delist anybody else to make room in the PSD? Also do we only get four rookies (as PSD has not factored in re-drafting Bennell)?
  7. Pick 40: Jay Kennedy-Harris Love watching the footage of this guy on the Club website. Maybe we have got another Jeff Farmer on our hands (particularly if he Howe can teach him to mark as well)?
  8. I agree re Scharenberg however we did get Salem rather thah Freeman and I suspect that Dysom will work out the better player than Adams. Overall we did not do too bad when you factor in Hogan as well (and the guys we picked up in the trades). Biggest shame is that we did not get the PP that we deserved as Hogan and Boyd would haveeen unstoppable.
  9. As was Salem (and Dawes and Watts before that) > Coached by Robert Shaw
  10. Congratulations Salem and Hunt joining your fellow Brighton Grammar alumni (Dawes and Watts) at the Dees!
  11. Congratulations Salem, joining your fellow Brighton Grammar alumni (Dawes and Watts) at the Dees!
  12. Now that is a good reason to recruit Salem! (Salem, Dawes and Watts)
  13. There is Kelly (184cm, 75kg) but he may go before our pick! He went to Brighton Grammar as did Chris Dawes and Jack Watts.
  14. The Hun has us taking Salem but the Age still has us taking Freeman. Either will work for us.
  15. And it may well change back again at the end of this season!
  16. Its is not long now fellow Demonlanders. I am sure that who Taylor, Viney and Roos select will be a well-informed and astute choice that will surprise many Demonlanders and football commentators.
  17. p.s With the draft only one sleep away, maybe everybody should get an early night?
  18. You mention Salem then go on about Sheed as the the best overall player. Which one would you want?
  19. Is it too late to delist further to give ourselves at least one selection in the PSD as insurance against allowing somebody we have in mind for the Rookie Draft being snatached beforehand (as happened last year with Hannath)? With pick two (#2) ours (and the likliehood of GWS already having committed to somebody) we effectively get first pick in both the PSD and Rookie Draft. It may be prudent to at least allow ourselves that option.
  20. Now who can we poach from that list with our second pick?
  21. I completely agree with rpfc on this point. It would be an ideal situation to pick up some body 'ready to go' however the Club has made provision with Cross, Vince, etc so that this criteria does not comprimise what should be our preferred goal to get the best available player in the long term.
  22. It now depends on the six Clubs in front of us now (with picks 1 and 8 excluded).
  23. Clark, Hogan & Watts!
