Win, definitely. Sure, it could be better for the club, but i want to win. Ask me 5 rounds in and it was lose, but just the enthusiasm and excitement from the team after the Brissy and Freo win, we're not building a team of losers and almost-rans, we want a team of winners. We also have some very long-suffering fans out West that deserve a win at Subi.

BT is a moron, i can't believe he was voted #1 in the Hun's survey, i put him last with a bullet. I was there, level three aisle 5, in front of the feral with brown hair, blonde mullet, missing his 4 front teeth, screaming out about playing with "big willies" looking like an ugly Danny Southern. Robbo looked depressing when he came out after the boys before the game in the moon boot with two crutches, moving terribly. Poor guy needed assistance to hop up through the gate from the ground! Good to see Flash getting high 5's from the Doggies fans though.

Cooney's 2008 stats Dunn has done the best job on Cooney this year. Also kept WB to their lowest score of the year.

i'd say 6 years? Haven't got my card on me, it's in the holy resting place at home! Child, and family memberships before that though, and i don't plan on stopping my membership ever, it's just too important to be a member, not just a supporter.

Aaron will not be captain of the MFC but that is nothing against him, he is a super player, but just look at the dominant teams over the years, full of super players but always just one captain. Usually I love the empowerment that Bails is giving our players, and the hardline approach to poor preparation, not doing the team thing and showing the discipline required for an elite team in the comp. Yes, we're not dominating on the field, but the point is that in the next few years when we are, we will have the right mindset behind us.

Agreed, a fantastic result considering our year to date but it does need to be a springboard to bigger and better things. 30k members should be only the beginning, we should be trying to push towards 34-35k in the next few years. Improved performances on field will help that considerably. Let's put some figures together: 5K members @ $165 Adult 11 = $825k. 4K adult members + 1K concession 11 members still equals $775K at current prices. Take a few thousand dollars out for admin fees. Those kind of additional funds each year will surely kill any interest accrued on our current debts, as well as giving us some pocket money!.

oh, 23k was a super turnout for Melb vs interstate side (even though Brissy does have a few of the Lions faithful still coming in the gates locally). A little bit of folding money for the boys, and the cheque book stays in the drawer! I think i actually cheered when i saw that. That was a super chase down. One of the bigger roars i've heard from the crowd for the Dees in quite some time. Reminded me of Aussie's goal to put us in front at the Freo game, and the 2005 cheer when we made the top of the ladder about 16 rounds in against Hawthorn.

just got to richmond station and thought i would log on to discuss the incredible game i just watched, to see somebody sooking about a 1 point win after 35 minutes in the final quarter is really sad. Well done dees, i am proud of you.
