They are Geelong. They'll find a way.

I'm going to spend the morning pretending that Hogan will announce a 10 year deal with us.

Wow! Thanks Mickey! Most interesting.

Training - Wednesday 7th October, 2015
Bluey's Dad replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm pretty sure this means you need to replace Saty on the reporting side of things. Buy yourself a scooter and camp out at the tan mate, we all need our training fixes! Great post btw. -
Very very interesting if true. Where did the AFL say what it takes to get a first round compo pick? Was it recent? I thought they kept the actual formula under wraps.
-
I reckon he will. Trenners is something special.
-
It's item #2 on the list, right after "Santa beard".

Dibs on Saty.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-10-07/bennell-nominates-fremantle-as-his-preferred-club\ So assuming he gets the trade done.... he royally [censored] up on several occasions and then is rewarded by being traded to the minor premiers? Doesn't sit well with me.

Hey man, you can't tell my boner what to do. TBH, I can't tell my boner what to do either.

Sigh. I know, I know, we need depth. But if we get Melksham, Ellis-Yolmen, Kennedy and Bugg, that's a lot of depth that's not really having a huge impact on the starting 22. At least we'll have a ready B grader to replaced every B grader who goes down injured right?

Yeah, I've asked him about it several times. According to him the problem is the way that their probability models are presented as absolute fact, not statistical likelihoods. Typical public servant, blaming the media.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOMAS BUGG
Bluey's Dad replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
Holy crap. My subjective view of footy is way out of wack then. I would never have pegged his DE as that high. -
Yeah but pubescent sexual innuendo is so much more fun.

Hi Wrecker, interesting point. From my understanding, the science CAN be falsified, but not until we have a long enough timeline of data. Unfortunately by the time that an entire dataset is available, it may be too late. As I understand it, the scientists are looking at the models and trends and making inferences based on that. Those inferences by and large indicate that the globe is warming. From there, the natural conclusion is to take action to prevent it. If we do nothing, we may find that when the full data picture is available to provide falsifiability that it's too late and we cannot reverse the effects. FWIW a close friend of mine works in the BOM in Darwin. He said that he has examined the issue in detail and he concurs with the assessment that the Earth is warming due to human influences. He actually reads and understands the science behind it unlike me, so I will trust his judgement. Having said that, he's a Saints supporter so his judgement may actually be suspect.

Thanks for another year fellas

Mods are going to have a hell of a time going back through all the sexually suggestive posts directed at Hogan. I believe he was underage at the time some of them were made as well. Normally I stand with the mods, but on this one I reckon they've over-reacted. I've posted actual fapping gifs in response to Hogan that weren't moderated. Your post was tame by comparison. The only difference was yours was in reference to a 17 year old girl, mine was in reference to a 17 year old boy. Hell, yesterday RPFC (I think it was him) posted a gif of Bill Shatner clearly saying "WTF" that wasn't moderated. I'd argue that post was a clearer violation of the posting rules than ManDee's post.

Prendergast doesn't rate him.

Anyone got a highlights package of him? I can't seem to find anything good. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Bluey's Dad replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
I actually don't mind this. I think it's a really efficient use of a pick. Plus you get to play the numbers games. Odds are that at least one of these two will benefit us more than the single draft pick. -
I vote for this guy based purely on his name. I know it's not exactly the correct spelling, but if he's a Demon I'll be yelling "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!" every time he goes near the ball.
-
Yep, and the top teams get to recruit players and pay them less because the players move for success and not money.
-
Thanks for posting those highlights. I was too young to have seen him play, but whenever I see these videos I am astounded by 2 things: - His size. He's unbelievably tiny for a footballer. - His grace. Everyone else seems in slow motion. I love the way he evades opposition players. It might be a cliche but he really is on another level. Amazing stuff.

2015 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Bluey's Dad replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Whatever happened to Peter Wright? Haven't heard boo about him since the draft.
