I reckon that's spot on. He's a footy player and loves the game, it's what he knows and what he can talk about. If you stick me in front of a bunch of cameras and reporters asking me about how I'm going to ask my boss for a raise or go somewhere else and I'd be a bit nervous too. He's what, 21? And looks uncomfortable talking on camera about the possibility of earning millions of dollars. Shocking.

Makes you wonder how Goldstein and Martin do it. They must have enormous tanks in addition to their footy abilities. Having said that, compare Gawn to where he was this time last year and it's a massive difference, so we can't expect every facet of his game to have improved as dramatically.

I share your blind spot regarding North. I look at their team and I think we could beat them if they were wearing any other team's colours. But for some reason the fact that they're North always seems to come up trumps. We are their bunnies and I have no idea why.

Ha! Good luck! I recently got a parking fine for parking on a nature strip because construction workers building a nearby supermarket had taken the very few remaining actual spaces. I escalated it with the council (Casey) and they said basically since I did park there, I have to pay the fine. Unavailability of legitimate parking, even in extraordinary circumstances, isn't good enough. To make matters worse, now that the supermarket is open, the council sent us a map of the new parking zones and my boss got a fine for parking in the unrestricted zone. The parking officer made a mistake and thought it was a 2 hour zone. My boss will try to escalate it but she's not hopeful.

The Martin figurine is actually marketing genius. Checkout staff have been instructed to ask "would you like chopsticks with that?" when customers purchase.

We're on different sides of the political divide Wrecker, but you're right here. Turnbull hasn't done much. I had high hopes for him initially but really, he hasn't made any significant policy changes. Even his 'everything on the table' tax reform was basically just asking for suggestions so he could say no. Better politicians on both sides are required. If our best PM of the last 5 years turns out to be the one who simply didn't 'muck up anything', we're in a very sorry state of affairs. At least we're not America eh?

But if he's correct in what he said, he just did a service to the game telling us that there's a drug cheat still playing. We need to find out who he is and slap on some sanctions.
