  1. I'm going to get a bruise free job... VERY NICE!
  2. I'm not disagreeing with you. Frost has a very important role to play which is essential. I'm only swewing we had to use our early second round pick on him and had nothing else in the hand to deal with instead.
  3. I'm hoping Nakia Cockatoo slips though, however it's highly unlikely. I'm swewing we Frost cost us so much with our second round pick, particularily considering the Giants traded O'Rourke for so little.
  4. I don't think so, should take the two best talents available (not possition) and if the club rate McCartin within their top three he should be taken if Petracca goes at one. I like the concept of having Hogan and McCartin develop together, they could become a fantastic combination over the years. Ideally I would prefer Petracca and Brayshaw, however won't be disapointed if we end up with McCartin due to the Saints taking one of the previous two.
  5. For me it's the top two talents, not positions. I'll be happy with two of these three: McCartin, Petracca, and Brayshaw. Ideally Petracca and Brayshaw if the Saints take McCartin. If they take Petracca, it's McCartin and Brayshaw for me.
  6. Paid way overs. I'm very disappointed with this trade period.
  7. I must say I was shattered today to see Biggs & pick 39 from Sydney go to the dogs for pick 37. That was practically a freeby.
  8. So far = Underwhelmed. Clark was a certain goner and Lumumba was near certain to come in. Garlett & pick 79 for pick 61 was a nice deal with us coming out on top. Overall I will be very disappointed if we go to the draft with picks 2 & 3. Nothing against the likes of McCartin, Petracca or Brayshaw it's just they are U18 "prospects" that will take years to develop into consistent and competent AFL quality players and for me that's a new rebuild from scratch. I would be far more excited if we use at least one (or both) of those picks in a trade to get an A-grader like Dangerfield or Kennedy or near B-grader like Mitchell (will eventually be an A-grader) and somehow acquire a late teen pick to go after Cockatoo in the draft.
  9. Fair points. Without question they have are down with the loss of Beams. I guess I was only surprised with how much they got back. You two have put it in a little better perspective for me.
  10. I don't know why, maybe it's finally set in but now for once I feel infuriated with Clark going to the Cats. Maybe it was the poorly Photoshopped image, I'm not sure. Now (to me anyway) he is nothing more that a feral moggy that swipes at the hand that feeds him.
  11. That Pie scum with a massive win: Beams and Lamumba and pick 67 (which they weren't going to use) out! Greenwood, Varcoe, Pick 5, Crisp in! Seriously I hate that scum, why can't we play hardball like that?
  12. Probably about as far off as me mate, return him from the dead
  13. Yes that was me and no I'm not doing the searching, I stated my point which we know is true. At work I attempt to find facts by continually supporting hypotheses, whereas demonland is a place where I can dream. Nostradamus or not, I enjoy his posts and I don't like those that blatantly attack or bully other posters. Simple as that.
  14. As for the other it's nothing but a fun guess but here goes. “Tick, tock, the black mouse has run up the electric clock. Lancelot lurks with feathers or fur to the command of his sir.” Black mouse being "Danger Mouse". His belt and colours are red and yellow, change the white to black/ dark it's Adelaide. The Tick Tock maybe the bomb. So I will go with the flow thinking it's Dangerfied. Electric clock, maybe some trade with Watts, or just electric pace, not sure. As for the "Lancelot lurks with feathers or fur to the command of his sir." I have no idea and look forward to the answer.
  15. Ok my guess regarding one of the players from the riddles: “As I said a massive game of chess. The end results are far certain. Our likely trade partner comes in black and white but is not a little bird.” - GNF As mentioned by some, a Swan which is a big bird that can come in either Black or White. These three posts below were liked by GNF, suggesting a trade with Sydney (relates well the their COLA sactions and this players high level of pay). “From BF, Devastating Boris (Melbourne supporter) Quote My mate works in the footy dept for GWS but as we all know Sydney is very small and he often gets swans news. He can't say anything more other than to strap myself in for a big week if everything goes well." “I thought sydney could trade their players for draft picks, but could not trade players for other players, if so they maybe looking to get as many early draft picks as this their sole source of new blood this year.” “Correct. Can only trade out their players for picks, not other picks” With that in mind being Sydney and a Black and White swan I think one player is TOM MITCHELL. Notice the Black Swan and White Swan,
  16. If you want proof use the search function like any other - rather than being so lazy and instead attacking the man before knowing or looking at his history. If you don't know where it is it's in the top right hand corner of the screen. Search in forums with his name and scour through the posts. As I recall the biggest one he had was the signing of Paul Roos well before it came out.
  17. GNF's track record is far better than yours - is it jealousy perhaps? I'm enjoying trying to crack the riddle.
  18. Hahahahaaa Hobart Hedgehogs
  19. I hope the Dees had nothing to do with that. On a more serious note I hope all is going well since and that you have made as close to a full and healthy recovery as you possibly can (bar memory of course). Thanks for the updates, much appreciated.
  20. Hahaha I have my boss (Bulldogs supporter) trying to convince me his a within the top 5 of players throughtout the AFL. No doubt he's good but he's certainly not top 5, will be 29 next year so he's within the twilight of his career and probably only has two more good years left in him. Furthermore he's had back issues over the last season. Mid teens pick max. and that's it.
  21. Not Treloar and Cameron, Treloar OR Cameron. I' guessing it's one of those three plus Frost.
  22. I think the hidden trade target is a GWS player. A while ago I was informed by a reliable source they were targeting Cameron, I don't know how well that has gone. I presume it's a deal of the pick 2 & 12 calibre for a Shiel/ Cameron or Treloar along with Frost. Then pick 3 & 21 (or Toumpas) for Dangerfield. Well that's my guess or something along those lines.
  23. Acquire Dangerfield this year via trade, acquire another (Sloane or Walker) next year via Free Agency, then finals here we come!
  24. Have I missed something or post? I've been a little all over the shop the last week with work and have pretty much only see the the news paper article.
