Very sad news. Condolences to Robbie's family -

Potential Trades [Warning: Reading this thread may self-destruct]
Travis Boots replied to Dr evil's topic in Melbourne Demons
From what i heard a while ago Cameron is most likely Crows bound. Dont know how but if its true surely it would involve Dangerfield moving on somewhere -
We are riddled with players with poor foot skills and some are calling for Butcher as a potential trade target. Like seriously, do you have any idea?

Players to target at the end of the year
Travis Boots replied to JackVineyForPresident's topic in Melbourne Demons
Theorectically we finish bottom 2-3, frawley leaves and we get tier 1 compo, i dont see us drafting kids with both picks. Im sure we'll have a go at Shiel. The issue is will GWS have a need for an early pick in a kpp dominated draft? Maybe/maybe not. Alternatively, there will also be Freo who may be willing to part with one of their prized players in order to get one of the top kpf prospects. I guess this will be dependent on whether Mundy leaves. -
Great performance Pedersen wow! Immense, his tackling pressure especially the one in the last quarter was insane! Surely people are going to start looking at Tyson and Viney as 2 of the best young midfielders coming through. How great is it to go to the game thinking we're in with a chance and being able to celebrate with fellow supporters we don't even know The only downsides were Dawsy struggling to take a grab and the umpires who were absolutely deplorable. I didn't think it could get worse than the last two weeks but dear god they took the cake today The first 5 minutes of either the 3rd or 4th quarter was some of the worst ive ever seen, 4-5 clear mistakes which gave Richmond momentum Let's enjoy it guys! We're looking up!

Always feared Hogan would go. I'd like to think that IF it is to happen freo will offer a fair trade seeing as Roos and Ross are close friends.

Done!

From the team we sent out today i cannot any of these players becoming genuine afl standard player Watts (shirks the contest, terrible centre of gravity, so frustrating considering his silky skills) N.Jetta Terlich Bail Mckenzie Spencer Pederson ( has been decent recently, perservere for now) Mckenzie Evans M.jones We're looking at least 3 seasons before we're able to put out a team who could genuinely compete and thats providing we have moderate to good success and trade and draft time The 2nd half showing was pleasing, would have ended in a 60 point drubbing not long

Thank god roosy has seen the light and has changed our game plan. We looked so much better taking the game on

The continuing saga of Melbourne's injury list - 2014
Travis Boots replied to alpha33's topic in Melbourne Demons
He was at the game with his gf on sat. Im presuming she is a local girl so hopefully theyre still together next year and it has a major bearing on his decision -
Im very much a realist but i still think frawley will stay provided we show genuine improvement and roos commits for the 3rd year

The Toumpas haters are going to look quite stupid in a couple of years.

Hogan at $14 is excellent value

That's not true, he had several really good games this year particularly in the final 2/3 of the season. Definitely not worth the ridiculous pricetag though
-
Are you out of your ******* mind? Treloar is the best young midfielder GWS have got!! i would happily have given both pick 2 and 20 just for Treloar.
-
we wouldnt have been in with a chance even with pick 2 let alone pick 9.
-
Haha, classic rumour. Also, Buddy from all accounts is a top bloke, dont think he would have bullied anyone.
