I didn't know this! Pleasantly surprised!!! These guys are hilarious!  😅🤣😂

Here is a YouTube video confirming this with an interview with Christian Petracca.

Yeah, theyre cousins with Frank Rugolo who played for us back in the day. Funnily enough there were quite a few of us wogs in 3165 who supported the Dees, not exactly something youd expect to see 😁

  2. Pretty sure it was Sam Jacobs who had a sibling that passed away during the 2017 season….

These bright sparks saw fit to test his adversity by giving him grief about their passing (probably whilst the Tigers song was on repeat)

I remember the good old days where we would win two games all season and a percentage in the 50's and it was 70% off. Then we play a prelim final and it drops to 40% off, win a Premiership and it's 40% off 'selected' items. This said, New Balance have been an excellent sponsor and I always look to them first for sports wear regardless of whether they are running 40% off or not.

Yeah, the initial 70-75% off offer was ridiculously good

I didn't get the email, but went into the club's website, and clicked on the New Balance 20% off offer.

I just placed an order and the 40% discount included. There were only certain products that had "Melbourne FC 20% off" under the item. When I ordered them, a 40% discount was calculated. I didn't have to include a discount code or membership number.

Well done bud. This addresses the issue.

Usually you put the items in the cart, and as you go to check out you put in the code and it should reduce the price. Also I don't think the discount counts for any items that are already sale items

Theres no code and im not adding sale items. Hush 😉

  6. Is anyone else who received the email this afternoon having no luck adding items to the their cart which reduce in price?

called up their customer care which has unfortunately moved overseas only to be told theyll have to get the IT dept to check and to look back after 4 hours. Hardly filled me with confidence

Looks like it just got better.

    Available this week.

    Lol, told ya (unfortunately)

He is out until mid season. Most concerning though is that there has been minimal improvement over the last few months, presumably they may have just ramped it to make see whether he could handle the tolerance of carrying it into games or whether its likely to go again

I hope im wrong but i have a feel we may have seen the last of Hibbo

I reckon that an NT team is closer than what people might think - and could be announced at the same time as a Tassie team if it was to eventuate (most likely staggered by a year or two like the last pair). The NT gov will cover the funding gap based on social impact (a reduction in crime etc.) with help from the federal side. A new stadium in the city aligning Darwin with Asian sporting interests is also being proposed to bring in extra cash. As an aside, Peter Jackson is on the taskforce for establishing an NT team.

Edit: Just noticed that the NT gov put out another tender last week for consulting on the social impact of an AFL team (my prediction is that PwC or maybe KPMG will scoop that one up). https://tendersonline.nt.gov.au/Tender/Details?id=20617

A report had already been commissioned by the AFLNT taskforce by a lesser-known consultancy. This feels like a step up to gain some political influence. https://www.aflnt.com.au/sites/default/files/uploads/NT AFL Team Scoping Report.pdf

Whether people agree with the concept or not, it's an interesting proposal, and possibly a world first for elite sport. And unlike the proposed Tasmanian team, I think a lot of NT-born people here would switch allegiances, especially when there are such strong family connections. It might impact us - but is also an opportunity to capitalise.

Yep, there was also discussion about the NT being granted the 20th licence

We have too many teams already, relocate North or Gold Coast

Dont think you’d like the other part of what i was told in that case 😬

forget to also mention that the new team will enter the league in 2025

  10. Done deal.

19th licence to be officially announced by AFL in the next couple of months. Mate of mine was down there mid week and will be involved in (without being specific) some capacity in the new stadium/precint

    So was I wyl.

However I seriously wonder if there will ever be another chance.

My club is probably in the worse shape it has been in for 70 years.

We are shambles on the field and if that continues for too many more years

we will be consigned to the same part of the history books as University, South Melbourne and Fitzroy.

    End of story

    Bump

Keep your eye on the mighty Melbourne Hawks!
