Worried and disgruntled about Roos' limited tenure
rjay replied to Curry & Beer's topic in Melbourne Demons
4 wins in 2014, 8 wins in 2015, finals in 2016 with Goodwin pulling the strings in the box and Dangerfield our new free agent. Perfect, don't know what you're worried about. -
I'd push hard for Stringer, I still reckon if used properly (as a mid) he will be the best player to come out of his draft year. At the moment he is being played as a makeshift forward. Think Ricciuto and you've got Stringer, a goal kicking mid who can play forward.
-
But he is ahead of those kids now and fills a need for the Hawks to remain in contention so for now he is far more valuable.
-
In an open market Petracca is not worth pick one but that's what he will go for. Against the other draft hopefuls Frawley's value is well and truly a pick one, he's a proven player and with Clark probably the most valuable player traded this year unless Dangerfield really does come into the mix.

Gordon Farkas, great name that. Love that movie... We've been Gordon'ed that's for sure.
-
I don't know about him being a liar and a psychopath but his actions haven't matched his words so you can call it what you like.
-
Not when you look in the mirror 'sweet dee', you can kid yourself all you like but deep down something just aint right.

Not today.... -
With you on Hrovat. If they want a KPF then they have to have the courage to make a decision. I don't think they will do it though and we will move on.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BILLY STRETCH

Good call 'Machsy', the 3 of them would be on the podium that's for sure. -

It's a good wrap but Brenton is renowned for this type of thing. I think 'Shifter' just gets him with the overflowing praise on kids but it's a very closely run race. -
Look, he's just one of those guys that tell you what you want to hear. They are quite charismatic but have not one once of substance and you can't trust a word they say. His actions show that...we have a word for this, rhymes with anchor.

Just go James...

They will and the last mob overpaid them for Dawes. Can't see that happening again. -

Exactly 'Pennant', if they want the KPP they are desperate to get then they have to pay the price and it's not Hrovat. -
Not worth a 2nd rounder.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

What a pity this didn't go to court, it was the only hope of us ever getting close to the truth. ...but the plan from his end was always to push for the dollars, he held his line under good advise knowing that Essendon would never go to court and got the result. -

I didn't realise Griffen was 28, will be 29 next season. What we really need is to pick up players in that 22 to 25 yo age group. The lost years...Blease, Strauss, Gysberts, Tapscott, Cook, Clark (he cost us a good pick in that age group) etc. -
He single-handedly kept us coming to the footy in some dark days. Then there was 87. An absolute legend and the last true champion to play for the club.
-
I hope some of ours are getting NT ambassador payments if that is the case.

Griffen or Stringer -
Yeah I would, he's either fit to play or he's not. He was robbed of AA honours the year he played there for Brisbane and I can guarantee Geelong will use him in the ruck for a fair degree of time particularly if Vardy comes back.
-
Don't agree on this at all 'rp', Clark would be an enormous help in the midfield. A winning ruck who can get a lot of his own ball would be invaluable.

Whatever culture they had last Saturday I'm not buying it.
