It annoys me how the MRP instantly equate injury with reckless play. Therefore pay out penalties accordingly. It's a contact sport and injury can be incidental. It also annoys how the club didn't go to the tribunal when apparently (i haven't seen the footage) there was no footage on this incident. The club had nothing to lose. It just takes me back to how this club stands for nothing. How can the supporters stand up yelling to be heard while club just goes on without any balls. I was hoping PJ would bring in a culture that increased testosterone levels.

The fact is Davey is a very good leader and role model. What RR is failing to recognise is the position Davey has in the indigenous community. Davey has worked hard to become an AFL player and has succeeded in a very harsh environment. He is a pioneer with forward line pressure, and coming via lower AFL leagues (SANFL/VFL). Two areas that are in vogue with all AFL clubs. Recent history shows how hard it is to assess the leadership of many at the club when the Board, Football Dept and Administration failing abysmally with its own leadership. We are experiencing one of the worst periods in ths clubs history. Everything looks bad ATM. I don't understand why Aaron is attacked on this board for being weak. He is slight in build and was never going to play a role in being physically intimidating. He it's an outside midfielder/forward. In his day he had speed to burn and he intimidated the opposition with this speed. There are many forms of intimidation other than the physical kind. It takes all types of people to make up a football team, and leadership comes in many forms.

This is why I like a mini draft concession. Two picks to off trade for 2 to 3 players. Mini draft pick one for Swallow Mini draft pick two for Adams 2013 draft pick 2 for Sloane and a down graded draft pick. (Later first round pick) Immediately our midfield is fixed with an eye on the future. Swallow, Adams, Sloane, Jones, Viney, Trengove, Toumpass, Grimes, McKenzie (tagger), Kent. That's 10 midfielders rotating through the midfield that will only get stronger in years to come as they mature and develop.

The Power have shown that things can turn around quickly with the right injection of staff. Last year PA were struggling to keep players, and were struggling to hire a coach. Their Board was also over turned. They were seen as a club reliant on the AFL without the cash to inject the right ppl. This year they are seen as a club on the rise! Things can turn quickly! If the club goes for an inexperience head coach, I'll reserve judgement until next season. Not everyone is a Need or Bailey. Realistically, the governance at the club was dreadful. Any coach was destined to fail. It's not just the coach that is detrimental, the Footy Ops guy, the assistants, and the Board backing up the the FD is important to the club moving forward. Roos understands this, and won't commit until his knows the club is moving heading in he right direction. Choco and Eade should be just as smart. Why leave their respective clubs to be swallowed up by the MFC. Getting Walsh is just as important as the coach

It's seems the facts are wrong on a few levels. Can only hope the Adams part is correct. I don't hold much hope though.

The article also says Pederson is contracted until next season. Is this right? I thought he was signed for 3 years. Fingers crossed the club only signed him for 2 yrs

A court case would not have given the club a backbone. If that statement was true, every club would take the AFL to court over other issues. Salary cap concessions, the crows losing draft picks etc etc. The fact is a court case was a lose/lose for all parties. It would serve those who are [censored] at the club and the AFL only.

He needs to find more of the ball with Casey. Taggert for Kent would have made me happier! How does the team lose by Kent getting 10 possessions, to Taggert getting a feel for the big league?

It takes 22 players to make up a team. Frawley just needs to play his role, and play it well. Creating a culture around Frawley is another way to move forward. Players such as Frawley are keepers at all cost IMO
