Can we only open these threads if there is something to report? We are consistently seeing these opened and contain no details about training. Or at least leave it to the disgression of whoever attended training to open?

Id say if Strauss is injured that it would pretty much be it for him. Couldnt see him coming back from another injury and performing to warrant himself a place on the list again.

7 years on the bottom and majority of our talls are injured without even playing a game this year....I would disagree with you re mismanagement.

How could a player spend 18 months at the club only to not be fit for his first senior game after such time. How could a 20 yr old contract a chronic back problem? What is this club doing to these kids? He has not even played a game yet and he has a chronic back problem is asstounding.

If you think it wont make a difference to recruiters knowing our most expensive dominant ruck/forward will be on our list or not matters your delerious. If Taylor and Viney have an extra 600k to spend I am sure it would help knowing in April rather then September so they could plan ways to use it.

I should have figured you wouldnt understand what that meant so I will spell it out for you. If he is intended to play ruck then we will need to think about getting in the ear of another ruckman to fill the void of Clark leaving. If he is intended to be a forward then we will need to fill the gap if he leaves. It is irrelevant if he would be a forward or a ruck as him leaving would leave a gap which recruitment would need to fill.

So when we have injuries it means we should ask our recruiters to go replace them? oookay then. If Clark is meant to play in ruck and he is going to quit then the sooner we know the earlier Viney and Taylor can look into getting another good ruckman to replace him. Forward or Ruck the sooner we know the sooner work can begin on replacing. His intended position is irrelevant.

You obviously dont understand much but recruiters work and plan all season on how to tackle the off season which includes speaking to players managers. If Viney and Taylor know in April we need a new KPF they can start working on it then rather then waiting until seasons end when many of the potentials could be re signed.
